This will be a series of 3 hands with the same fish, the results are vital for your judgement of the hands, so the coach, who answers in the first topic is kindly asked to answer all three.

Ok, here we go. This hand was played without any dynamic, I just knew this guy was a 1 tabling fish:

Poker Stars, $0.02/$0.05 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

      MP: $1.34 (26.8 bb)
      Hero (CO): $9.96 (199.2 bb)
      BTN: $5.10 (102 bb)
      SB: $5.08 (101.6 bb)
      BB: $4 (80 bb)
      UTG: $2.82 (56.4 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 9:spade: 9:heart:
UTG folds, MP calls $0.05, Hero raises to $1.50, 3 folds, MP calls $1.29 and is all-in

      Flop: ($2.75) K:club: J:heart: 8:spade: (2 players, 1 is all-in)
      Turn: ($2.75) 8:heart: (2 players, 1 is all-in)
      River: ($2.75) A:heart: (2 players, 1 is all-in)

      Results: $2.75 pot ($0.11 rake)
      Final Board: K:club: J:heart: 8:spade: 8:heart: A:heart:
      MP showed Q:heart: J:spade: and won $2.64 ($1.30 net)
      Hero showed 9:spade: 9:heart: and won $0.00 (-$1.34 net)

      Hey Matt,

Preflop: Given that you have 3 guys behind I don't think it's necessary to raise to 30 BBs right away.

I would make a regular size raise and play postflop especially with 0 reads.

So, would you rather have a BvB situation with him in order to make it a cold jam (which sounds yummy btw :f_biggrin: ) or would you always raise him in order to play postflop?

If you would've jammed BvB, what about SB vs BTN?

If not, low has his stack need to be for you to cold jam it?

I wouldn't jam preflop unless it's a really small stack, like 10-12 BB. With a bigger stack you can raise smaller and just play postflop.

BvB we can jam or BB vs BTn if he raises before us. It makes more sense to 3-bet than to just call.
