Your equity against TT+,AQs+,AKo is 37%. You need 41% equity in this particular case. It's close because you could argue he is shoving looser, but I would fold.

Also, if you make his range wider (88+,AJs+,KQs,AKo) you still have around 37% equity...

I get 33% against TT+, AQs+, AKo and I get 34.25 against the other range you suggested.

But wouldn't something like 66+,AJs+,AJo+ be a more realistic range for looser shortstacks? against that range I have 44.6%

      Hi Kruppe,

If you think he's an SSS, this is an insta-fold.

But even against an unknown I'd fold as well. IMO the range you gave him is too loose and I don't have any reason to believe he'd push that loose (tilting, reads, stats, your table image...).
The one reason I see he could be pushing looser is that he might see your bet as a steal, but I still fold, because even against such a loose range you can see you don't have a big advantage.

If you think he is playing SSS then his range is much more tight than that suggested. According to SHC he would re raise with JJ+, AKs, AKo. With pocket 8's this gives you equity of 33.281 %.

      I think he's loose because he's short-stacked. are short-stacks generally looser than 100BB stacks?

So do I... don't know what I did wrong last time :) Doesn't change that you don't have enough equity, and even giving him a wide range, you still have a very marginally profitable situation. So I would fold.

Depends on the man... if he's SSS then no way he's looser.. if he's a desperate fish down on his luck.. maybe

I think calling his all-in here is BBQing good money. If he had 100$ behind then you could possibly call for the implied odds, with nothing behind calling is a waste.
