      hi.

      This is certainly an unpleasant spot but your best line on the Turn is to bet/call for sure. River is super tough when the backdoor flush gets there. Let's see what you have here.

      A:dQ/A:dT/Q:dT (3 combos)
      Sets (12 combos)
      KJ (16 combos)

      Villain is tight preflop and he shouldn't have too much pure air here on the Turn cos he folds almost 50% on the Flop. Vs a pot bet you can defend around half of your range so I think folding KJ is reasonable since you lose to all turn semi-bluffs as well as sets and the only thing you really beat here is stuff like 89s which is a really narrow range.

      On the River, I'll check/fold KJ and call everything else (flushes and sets)

      Thanks.

      Yeah, I folded too. You said you'd call with sets, don't you 3bet sets on the turn?

      Would you 3b 55 here? I think 55 is not strong enough to 3bet.

      1) KJs, all combos of JJ/KK
      Board: 5c7sKdJd
      Equity Win Tie
      MP2 24.43% 24.43% 0.00% { 5d5h }
      MP3 75.57% 75.57% 0.00% { KK, JJ, 77, KJs }

      2) No KK
      Board: 5c7sKdJd
      Equity Win Tie
      MP2 31.82% 31.82% 0.00% { 5d5h }
      MP3 68.18% 68.18% 0.00% { JJ, 77, KJs }

      3) Super Optimistic, 100% of KJ combos and no KK
      Board: 5c7sKdJd
      Equity Win Tie
      MP2 55.45% 55.45% 0.00% { 5d5h }
      MP3 44.55% 44.55% 0.00% { JJ, 77, KJs, KJo }

      77 is a lot closer. You may not necessarily want to 3bet sets here unless you think villain virtually has no bluff range and you prefer to cooler him on the Turn if you had JJ/KK. but with 77/55 there is a strong argument for bet/calling Turn only.
