      Hey,
Villain 35/31/48 hands, seems a bit of a maniac.

since he reps only 5x for value & tonnes or draws & air, do you rather 3b his flop raise?

Or just call with our equity?

IP I think its an easy call, but OOP it's hard to get value.

Thought about c/shoving turn, but he's shoving river with a flush anyway so there's no need.

      BTN: $23 (46 bb)
      Hero (SB): $50 (100 bb)
      BB: $54.77 (109.5 bb)
      UTG: $47.55 (95.1 bb)
      MP: $54.50 (109 bb)
      CO: $20.79 (41.6 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A 9
4 folds, Hero raises to $1.50, BB calls $1

      Flop: ($3) 8 5 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $2, BB raises to $5, Hero calls $3

      Turn: ($13) J (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $8, Hero calls $8

      River: ($29) T (2 players)
      Hero checks, BB checks

      Results:
      $29 pot ($1.30 rake)
      Final Board: 8 5 5 J T
      Hero showed A 9 and won $27.70 ($13.20 net)
BB mucked 9 Q and lost (-$14.50 net)

      hi.

Flop: 3betting the Flop is better if
-Villain bluffs a lot and will fold to a 3b
-He jams with many worse draws
      -He raise/min4bets as a bluff a lot
Since this is BvB I think I like a 3bet quite a lot here. Would prefer it on boards like 8:s5:dJ with A:s2 though - This way we can dominate more worse combodraws and flush draws.

Turn: If you think he's on air a lot then the best play is to call. You have the nut flush draw anyway so the only cards you are afraid of are the pairing ones.

      Thanks.
