MP 18/18/28 hands, marked as a fish.

      BU 21/18/1.4/11.6/38/245
      3b from BU 19%

      Preflop cold call a mistake?
BU is super wide & MP is fishy, so I thought it might not be too bad considering the small 3b sizing.
Would cold 4b AQo because it doesn't play so well OOP.

OTF do you think donking>c/c or c/r?
Board is super coordinated, so I don't think the reg will be cbetting light & I get value from the fish.

Once the fish just flats on this board I think my hand is almost always best.

BTW I think my flop sizing is pretty terrible, didn't realise how short MP was.

      BTN: $136.23 (272.5 bb)
      Hero (SB): $54.13 (108.3 bb)
      BB: $52.78 (105.6 bb)
      UTG: $46.55 (93.1 bb)
      MP: $38.34 (76.7 bb)
      CO: $50 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q A
UTG folds, MP raises to $1.50, CO folds, BTN raises to $3.65, Hero calls $3.40, BB folds, MP calls $2.15

      Flop: ($11.45) Q 8 9 (3 players)
Hero bets $6.50, MP calls $6.50, BTN folds

      Turn: ($24.45) A (2 players)
Hero bets $15, MP raises to $28.19 and is all-in, Hero calls $13.19

      River: ($80.83) 7 (2 players, 1 is all-in)

      $80.83 pot ($2.50 rake)
      Final Board: Q 8 9 A 7
      Hero showed Q A and won $78.33 ($39.99 net)
MP showed A 9 and lost (-$38.34 net)

      Hey Danny,

Preflop is very close since you are OOP. Imo folding or 4betting are better.. 4betting will show a profit but you might be commited against MP, better check that given some sizings you had in mind for the 4bet.

Postflop, apart from bigger sizing on the flop to shove turn vs MP, nothing I would do differently tbh.. BU won't cbet light, MP is wide and weak there anyway, your hand doesn't play well when it sees a lot of turn cards so betting is best option.
