      BTN: $20 (100 bb)
      SB: $27.86 (139.3 bb)
      Hero (BB): $29.92 (149.6 bb)
      CO: $23.22 (116.1 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9 Q
CO folds, BTN raises to $0.60, SB folds, Hero calls $0.40

      Flop: ($1.30) 7 5 4 (2 players)
      Hero checks, BTN checks

      Turn: ($1.30) Q (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $1, Hero calls $1

      River: ($3.30) T (2 players)
Hero bets $1.40, BTN calls $1.40

      Results:
      $6.10 pot ($0.30 rake)
      Final Board: 7 5 4 Q T
      BTN showed Q K and won $5.80 ($2.80 net)
Hero mucked 9 Q and lost (-$3 net)

I'm most interested in the river play. What would you guys suggest? I don't think there is much that he would use the Q to bluff with that would call the river and that only really leaves other Qx hands in his range imo or maybe club flush draws. should i just check the river?

      Hey Legand73,

Preflop call will likely be a losing play. You are behind even a very wide BTN opening range and OOP. 3bet or fold.

I'd probably check river. You are behind all his Qx so your main source of value somes from the possibility that he may be bluffing or value-betting worse.

Depends on villain's ATS from the BTN (also open-raise sizing). Even vs a pretty wide 3x open it's probably best if hands like KJo, JQs,ATo,A9s are at the bottom of your flatting range. Tighter vs a guy who doesn't steal much.

Whether you should 3bet or not depends on villains Ft3bet stat. If it's high you can bluff. If it's low, just muck the Q9o preflop.
