Just downloaded the elephant, found out my winrate over 5,800 hands is about 12 big blinds/100 hands - people on here say you need 15,000 to have an accurate base though - how accurate an indication can I get from 5,800? And does 12bb/100h sound about right or is it very low/high? (playing nl10)

Delete 12 bb per 100 is good. Anything positive is good. Was running at about 11 bb per 100 this month, had a bad day on monday and rate was dropped to 7 bb per 100. At the end of the month compare your numbers to last month and keep track for the next few months then you will be able to get a sense of what your real number actually is.

Not meaning to discourage you, but it will very probably drop down. But basically you can make 10 big blinds/100 on the lower limits if you are playing an A-game(it is quite a high expectation though).

      Hey delete,

12bb/100 is a great result. But I have to tell you that 5800 hands is no sample size. Even 15k hands is no sample size. To really have a somehow accurate value you need at least 100k hands. But good result so far. Keep it up.

      Best regards,

just had another great session which pushed winrate up to 13.3bb/hh over 6,000 hands but yeah, I was wondering if that is realistic in the long term. I wont get enough hands in to get a decent sample size anyway as I will be switching to nl25 in the next few days even if I dont win anymore, next bonus will give me enough BR to move up. I am guessing nl25 will be much tougher and winrate will drop then.

      Hi delete461,

Nice results. What is it your playing? SH, FR? BSS, SSS?

As Tribun said, to get a rough estimate of your winrate you need about 100k hands. But hey, thats one hell of a start.
