      Hey gavinonymous :)

The strategy forum itself is meant for general poker discussions and strategy related questions. Poker hands themself are discussed in our hand evaluation forums. You may find the hand evaluation forum for hands up to 11$ buyin here:
      http://www.pokerstrategy.com/forum/board.php?boardid=1503

I am not sure if you want your hand to be evaluated or just want to show us how lucky you got ;)

Therefore I will leave it here for now. If you want the hand to be moved, so it gets evaluated, feel free to post again in this thread.

      Regards,
      Asaban

Lucky? It was skill. ;) Just a thread in the vein of 'hand of the day' and 'bad beat of the day' It's also motivation to never give up in a Tourney even if you are almost blinded out.

I don't need evaluation for these, thanks for offering. I figure if anyone else has had a similar comeback they could post their lowest chip count and final chip count.

I'm sure someone here has come back from <1BB to win a tourney. Has to be one of the best feelings in tournament poker.

Then the thread should probably be moved to "General poker discussion" where Hand of the day, bluff of the day etc. is.

I used to play some STT's on Full-Tilt back in 2009 and i remember one where i was down to 0.5BB with the blinds at 25/50. I went on to finish 2nd. Not quite the same thing as it was STT & 2nd place, but the closest i have to replicating your experience.

I did this once as well in a turbo MTT. I got down to around 1bb very early on. I still managed to get a deep run and busted just short of the final table for a still pretty decent payday, considering I was down to 1bb at one point!

It's great when it happens. But let's be realistic, getting back up to a decent stack requires a ton of luckboxing :f_biggrin:
