Differences in SNG beginner charts

I'm trying to get some solid basics for my SNG play, so I started following the charts described in the Basic sections of SNG Strategy. I noticed there are starting hand charts in both "Sit and Go beginner strategy" and "How to play before the flop" articles. But I notice some differences in them.

First of all the "beginner strategy" splits the play in "more than 12BB" and "less than 12BB" whereas "How to play before the flop" mentions the 3 stages of a tournament.
Then, for example, QQ is posted as a 'Raise/all in' (You always raise) VS 'Raise/fold (>1 prev. raise)'
Other differences show up in playing pocket pairs pre-flop etc.

Now I know charts are guidelines for players just starting out. But suppose I am one of those players, which chart do I go by in the beginning? Which one is better/more advanced?

      Thank you!
