      Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A:diamond: , A:spade:
MP2 folds, Hero raises to $1,00, CO folds, BU calls $1,00, 2 folds.

      Flop: ($2,35) 6:club: , Q:spade: , A:heart: (2 players)
Hero bets $1,25, BU raises to $2,50, Hero calls $1,25.

      Turn: ($7,35) K:spade: (2 players)
Hero bets $4,00, BU calls $4,00.

      River: ($15,35) 8:club: (2 players)
      Hero bets $10,00, BU folds.

After villain raised hero on the flop, hero wanted to check/raise the turn, however, on the turn a very dangerous card hit and therefore hero bet to protect himself.

Was it correct to bet or should hero have tried to induce bluff with check/raised on the river?

Did hero bet a correct amount on the river?

Being oop it is hard to go for c/r on the turn, since BU would often check back. Since you have the nuts then I´d 3-bet flop 6$ and try to get it all-in if BU makes another min-raise.
After making 6$ on the flop you can bet 2/3 on the turn and the rest on the river.
You want to play for stacks here.
LEading out on the turn is fine and river betsize is also fine. Once you bet turn, don´t go c/r on the river, since player would check back too often.
