I have been playing poker for 4 years.. im 21 years old living in ontario canada. I find that sometimes i can build really well. I lend and sometimes get loans from friends on ftp. Since the beginning of my career, i have had terrible bankroll management. After going broke time after time, ive been reading articles all night long (probably 5 hours) . I hated school which is why im not in college anymore. I love poker... and i hate working. What i hate about working is how hard it is to find a good job. Obv im not going to work at a fast food place... i want construction work that pays well. But ive found that at times I can win huge on poker and have cashed out 800, 1200, and 600, without depositing. Just loans from friends.... right now im broke because of my bad bankroll management... .Waiting for rakebak to come :) .. hurry up lol... a buddy and i are going to Casino rama saturday to play some 1/2nl... Im going to representing ftp with my hat lol. Anyone else going to be there?

21 and living in Ontario, Canada? Sounds like you are describing me. I play limit hold'em at the moment just because I like the consistency more but you will have swings as well. I really didn't like school either even though I did really well in it, so I ended up taking 3 years off before just starting college this year. Anyways good luck to you, I'll probably end up sitting next to you at a table some day.

      Hey johny,

interesting read. But I really have to tell you that ot's not about the game you play if you either loose or win money. It's all about the right strategies and BRM is a part of that. FL is at least as swingy as NL, just to tell you that. I suggest to reread all articles in our strategy section, especially the one about BRM. Furthermore I would stick to either FL or NL, switching between them is not good. You won't play optimally in one of them.
Keep us informed about your progress.

      Good luck,

thanks for the input. I got my rackback... i hate to complain but ive figured out how much i should have got and i only received 34$ i believe. I calculated like 90$. Hoping to receive more soon. Ive played so much hu on ftp last couple years that i was able to take 1000 ft points and ive built them to 12000 now. I love omaha hu. I feel i have a large edge over the players i been playing. Probably because i normally play real money, but lately its been the 325 ft points.. 18 person shoutout. winner takes 5000. Refering to your advice on reading more articles and sticking to either fixed or nl. I will always continue to read and review the info. But to choose which type of game i will solely stick to is difficult. I get bored (probably why i began playing omaha hu :) .. never full tables).. my id is leafsfan8..anyone wanna come find me and chat is welcome :) . goodluck at the tables everyone.
