Hi guys, this is my first time on the EN community.I'm from Romania, and I am quite proud of who I am, where I was born and what I've done until now.I`m 20 years old, and kinda been living from my poker earnings for a year and so..My winning weren't that great because I could never build up a solid bankroll.I always needed the money.I was like:"Hey I've got 400$ on my poker account and 30$ in my wallet.Which one of them I want to be full at the moment?"

But not anymore, I`m done with my 2nd year of college and looking forward to this summer.I have some money saved to spend this summer so I won't have to touch my bankroll.I currently play on an "ex-affiliated" platform, that being 666+222 (i suppose i can't write it's name) .I chose that platform for more reasons, but the main one is that there is a good bank of fishes.I have played stakes as high as NL100, I think I have some experience, I've been playing a long time, but only as a "scratch-off" ticket. For the summer to come I plan to grind a lot (for me, this is good grinding, for the actual GRINDERS might not be that much).I will play 6 tables(that's the max that the platform allows) for at least 7-8 hours a day, and if i feel well enough i will play more.Until now I have played on PokerStars, started off with only 10$ , i was bored to tears one night and had to study for an exam.I said, hey let's take a break and play a tournament or something. So i deposited 10$ , and in about two weeks i turned them into 250$ playing only zoom micro.I was running pretty well but when i wanted to play at NL10 I remembered about this platform. So, after i transferred the money there, i started to play NL10.This summer i plan to make at least 2.000$ , maybe more and become a good reg at NL50.

I hope I will be able to keep this blog interesting and useful for everyone.
Here's an interesting hand, vs. a big big fish, he was playing 90/40.He would have never checked the turn if he had anything at all. Some would say that the hand is played awful, and I thought so after i made a review. But I really thought he had total air here, I don't usually do that. :D

This hand was in my opinion either a really well played one, or a retarded play from me.

      I love the hand.

You can almost hear the thinking:

Flop: "Well, if I bet half pot he fold unless he hit something." <bet><you call> "Oh crap, he haz something. I hope it isn't a 9. Oh no, what now"

Turn: "He's trapping. I better check behind. He's got like a 9, or a Q or a K, but hopefully not all three of 'em"

River: "Hmmff. I guess he doesn't want it. He can't call unless he has two crubs" <bet> <you call> "Oh no! He haz K9! Oh whew, it was only a pair, at least I didn't lose too badly"

      Thanks for the laugh!

Thanks a lot for the feed-back. Looking forward for more hands like this one, where i try to make a bluff-catch and they are actually bluffing. :f_biggrin:

I`m done with today's session, pretty interesting/unlucky one.I ran twice in a set/set battle and i always had the weaker set.At zoom I could have easily folded a small set on the flop, but here, vs. a fish I find it really hard to do, even if he basicly "tells" you sometimes that he has a set.Anyway, a B/E day, I made a little bit of spew, I have some leaks that I will hopefully correct in time.

Speaking of bluff-catches, here's a hand vs. a big fish.He was playing like 94/40 on a 50 hand sample.I really thought about "value-betting" the river.. :f_biggrin: You can see how big of a fish he is by his preflop raise.Or maybe I`m the fish for calling.. ?

Ok, had a pretty good day.Actually a really good one.I also tried to limit my non-sd losses and I could see the difference in my graph.

      Ok, here's an interesting hand.

It was something like:I played it badly, my hand lost it's value on the river, but the fish is WORSE ! :f_cool:

I'm not sure how your hand lost value on the River...

It seems to me that it GAINED value because in allowed MP to catch up to where he thought he had a value bet.

It has always intrigued me that no matter how good a poker hand may be, it is worth only the blinds unless someone else in the hand has something not-quite-as-good.

And the better a poker hand is, the worse it is if someone in the hand has something just-a-little-bit-better.

      Cheers,

Hello guys, now we're gonna talk a little bit about goals, and how to achive them. This image first striked me as a pointless one, but after a few seconds it started to make sense. This (pointless to some people) image made me think about what i really want to do and what I've done until now.Well, until now I haven't done much because of my constant withdrawals.Usually that is in the way of most winning players. This is what stopped me being better at what I do(in this case, playing at a higher limit). That's why I'm going to do everything in my power to change it.No more withdrawals from now on !

Hi guys, haven't made any updates here but I`m planning on keeping this blog active. Since I last posted here I had a good run , now I`m playing NL25 Zoom SH. I switched to SH because the games are softer IMO, or maybe I just caught a good run.

I definitly caught a good heater, I am at 16bb/100 in the first 10k hans at NL25.If I manage to keep it over 6-7BB everything will be perfect!

So, tomorrow I will start the serious grinding, I will play at least 8k hands and post the results afterwards.Good luck ! :s_biggrin:
