      Hello to all my guests.

This is going to be my 3rd blog at pokerstrategy. Previous where in Russian community, but nothing turned out with them.

I had no practice in English for more than one year, so I decided to follow the lead and to start blog in English community.

About myself – My name is Roman. I am 25 from Riga.

      Playing limit: NL2 / NL5 BSS ZOOM
      Pokerroom: Pokerstars
      Bankroll: 261$

In past I had some bitter experience with mss on nl10 and after downswing I started from beginning.

Feel free to correct me, if I make mistakes.
Hope I'll make new friends here.

      Hi Romazzsgk,

First of all, welcome to the English community! Your English is perfectly fine as well, I wouldn't worry about it! :)

What kind of BRM will you be using? With a BR of $261, you could possibly even try playing at NL10 if you wanted! Of course if you don't feel comfortable yet, it's perfectly fine to start wherever you want. I'm playing NL5 myself as well, and even though I have played NL10 before, I'm much more comfortable at NL5.

Hopefully you'll be able to climb the limits and learn a lot! Best of luck :)

      Regards,
      Tino

      Hi TinoLaan,

After I typed my current BR thought, what am I doing on NL2 ?( I know I should forget about NL2. But there is some psychological discomfort I am experiencing - money pressure (don't know is it correct translation). BR - 40 BI.

Problem is that I do not have much free time to play poker, I'm recreational player. In comparison, year ago I was grinding lot more hand per day.

Good motivation for me is level-up promotion, platinum status I won't reach but gold - easy.

It's no problem to use conservative BRM in my view. You should always do whatever you're most comfortable with. So if you prefer working with 40BI, who am I to tell you otherwise? ;)

Best of luck with the July goals (your posts says June, but I think you mean July!)! :)

Graph for this week with few days on nl2.

Finally got rid of desire to see showdown. As I remember that was huge problem for me.

      Posted few hands for evaluate

      1. JJ
      2. 88
      3. QTo
      4. TT
      5. 77

      1. Got only 19 hands on villain. Steal 75(4).
Resteal as bluff, wanted to check how he fold on resteal.

      2. Preflop missclick, should steal 0.15. I think I made mistake by calling his resteal. Not often I'll get suitable (not sure if translation is correct) flop.
