      Hey peepz..

I've got a little question about playing poker in Blanes Spain.. First off, are there any options to play at pokerstars.es when you have an .EU account registred?!
If not, are there options to make an .es account an deposit with paysafe or elsewhat?!
Are there other sites, where I could register in spain?!

And if it's totaly imposible to play online.. are there any casinos in the neighbourhood of Blanes?!
I know there are some at Gerona and Lorret but I would like to play a little closer to Blanes..
Any help would be highly appreciated.. thanks in advantage..

      Hey Grunn17,

I would advise that you contact PokerStars support directly with these queries. It's always best to get 100% correct advice on these matters.

      support@pokerstars.com

Please let us know what they say.

      Regards,

      Hey Grunn17,

You can have an account on both PokerStars.eu and PokerStars.es. However, you need to have a steady accomodation in Spain for that. You also have to be able to prove that you live there, for example with a contract. So dependent on how long you'll be staying in Spain, it may or may not be worth the trouble.

There has been a similar thread in the Dutch community about this. That might be worth checking out for you as well, considering you're Dutch (I translated/summarized the post so other people can read it here as well): http://nl.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=76507

But like Gary mentioned, if you want 100% certainty on what is and isn't possible/allowed, make sure to contact PokerStars support directly.

As far as casinos go, I'm afraid I can't help you, as I have never been there myself :(

      Kind regards,
      Tino

Ok firstoff thanks for your reply's.. I contacted the supportteam from pokerstars, and just like you said you need to have evidence your staying in Spain.. You need to send in an bill where your current adress in Spain is visible.. Also you need to send in your ID card to make sure it's you..
You need to make an extra .ES account under the same personal stuff as your .EU account, and then you can send in the ID en bill photos.. When making the acccount you need to click; No spanish citizen..
Then you can play as foreigner on pokerstars.ES..

My first impression is not very well comparing it with .EU.. Only 6max zoom up to NL10, a few good value tournaments, but mostly higher buyins with low guaranteeds.. cashgames are running well on the other hand..

I will reply to this topic when cashing out, and review the pokerstars.ES client better then..

Wow, that's quite the process then. That's some really good information to have though, so thanks for sharing! Glad you managed to get everything working!

Let us know how things go and how the cashout process goes :)
