Why didn't you bet on flop?

Was a rainbow flop, with no real draws, and I knew I was miles ahead.

      Hi TimoDee,

Glad about your first post ) you should post more, since it is the most effective way to improve your game.

First of all, we fold 99 from Early position. It is too weak for a raise, especially, on Nl 10. Postflop will be often marginal and you don't really need marginal situations on this limit, since you can extract enough value from you strong hands.

Second, I think we need to cbet on flop. For 2 reasons:

      1) We cbet very often. And this kind of board is perfect for a cbet (when we missed). So, our opponent should expect our cbet to be fairly wide.

      2) NL 10 players are not very good at poker) They are beginners... So we should simply bet for value here and hope for a good opportunity to push.

And the last, but not least.
you had a deeper stack, more then 2.80
      this means:

      1) you had to leave the table
      2) you had more reasons to bet for value on the flop
      3) you should push river

Thank you for your post and I hope you found my evaluation helpful)
Looking forward to your further posts.

      good luck,

      xylere
