      River: ($13.75, 2 players) Q:spade:
Hero checks, UTG+2 bets $9.00, fold

I try to understand good spot to play check in 3bet pot.
On the flop probably we have the best hand and we can bet for value but he folds to cbet big amount of the time 78%. So I don't want to force him to fold QQ, JJ, TT something like this. Because our opponent is very passive I don't expect bluffs when we check.
Which line would be the best to get as much as possible value from QQ, JJ and TT.

Turn: Now I decided to bet for value.

River: bad card for as. We cannot bet for value. JJ, TT would fold. QQ hits set so best play would be check/fold without any doubts.

      Hi UnknownJoseph,

Preflop: So we have a guy that opens 8% in UTG so our 3-bet is very light at best. We definitely can't go broke preflop

Postflop: I rather cbet than check and give him free cards. He also is not aggro so it's not like he'll bet TT to bluff.
So instead of giving him a chance to see another free card I'd bet the flop and he may peel off once, even if you bet small like 1/3 pot (which still doesnt give him odds)>

1/3 psb on the flop and again 1/3 psb on the turn and check/fold river? is it ok?

Against someone like him we have at most 1-2 small valuebets.

So yes, we can't really play too big of a pot on this board.

      I forgot ask about preflop...
it's better do just flat? because when we 3bet we change our AK into a bluff because no worse hands will call?

Generally yes but then I saw that he actually does not fold much to 3-bets (which makes sense for someone opening a tighter range) which means that we can still expect to get called by AQ type hands that he opens.

It's light (As I mentioned initially) but probably better than just calling OOP.
