      Hero (BTN): $47.69
      SB: $24.05 (VPIP: 0.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 5)
      BB: $12.50 (VPIP: 50.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 2)

SB posts SB $0.10, BB posts BB $0.25

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.35) Hero has T:spade: Q:spade:

UTG raises to $0.75, fold, fold, Hero calls $0.75, fold, BB calls $0.50

      Flop: ($2.35, 3 players) 5:spade: K:spade: J:club:
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero checks

      Turn: ($2.35, 3 players) 8:club:
BB bets $1.00, UTG calls $1.00, Hero ?

Call preflop is borderline but in my defence:
      - we're deep ;)
      - there's a fish in the blinds who will probably come along

Should I have bet the flop? What happens if I get check/raised? Call turn and fold blank rivers or is it a stack off on the flop?

      Hi nooni2k,

Preflop: I think that calling preflop against an unknown UTG is a bit loose so I would opt for fold (or 3-bet).

The BB fish is also unknown.

Postflop: As played I think you should bet the flop. Why do you opt to check behind with Q high? First, better hands can fold and you have a ton of equity in the pot.

As played I'd raise the turn. UTG never has a hand (at best a draw) and BB can be weak as well.

      Thanks Bogdan

I agree completely. Total brainfail not betting the flop here, esp as I have zero showdown value.

fwiw you're pretty much correct, BB had gutshot (AT) and UTG had weakish AJ

Can I ask - if you bet flop and got one (or even two) callers, would you barrel that turn?

I think that we can bet the turn with our hand if UTG called he is usually weak (he is the PFR and ck/calls a really wet board).

If BB calls it depends on how much money there is behind. The turn is a blank so we generally don't have much FE and with his stack we could easily get it in on the rivers we hit.

If both call I'd just check back even though UTG is still weak.
