Poker Stars, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

      UTG: $50 (100 bb)
      MP: $54.71 (109.4 bb)
      CO: $83.30 (166.6 bb)
      Hero (BTN): $54.99 (110 bb)
      SB: $41.82 (83.6 bb)
      BB: $50 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with 5 5
UTG folds, MP raises to $1.50, CO folds, Hero calls $1.50, 2 folds

      Flop: ($3.75) Q J 7 (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $2.40, MP calls $2.40

      Turn: ($8.55) 9 (2 players)
      MP checks, Hero bets $15,

MP 22/20 after 50 hands, no special reads yet

Maybe turn sizing is too strong, but I cant really restrain myself in such spots...
After taking ch/call line on such a board he will never have a strong hand here, he wont have any flush, mainly Jx/TT/88, maybe Qx is the top of his range.

      Hi D,

The spot is again good, I just, like always, doubt whether an overbet is necessary or not. If you assume people are weak or you gain a lot more folding equity I like overbetting turn and shoving river.

I think generally you can expect MP to fold very often to 3 standard barrels, not needing to overbet.
