Poker Stars, $0.08/$0.16 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

      CO: $36.48 (228 bb)
      BTN: $15.60 (97.5 bb)
      SB: $18.96 (118.5 bb)
      Hero (BB): $16.20 (101.3 bb)
      UTG: $16.24 (101.5 bb)
      MP: $26.45 (165.3 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9 A
4 folds, SB completes, Hero raises to $0.48, SB raises to $1.12, Hero calls $0.64

      Flop: ($2.24) A 2 J (2 players)
SB bets $0.80, Hero calls $0.80

      Turn: ($3.84) A (2 players)
SB bets $2.08, Hero calls $2.08

      River: ($8) A (2 players)
SB bets $2.56, Hero raises to $12.20 and is all-in, SB folds

Preflop: Once he limp/raises i shouldn't get tricky here and its just better to fold? Usually when they take such line they have stronger holdings.

Flop: We hit our TP, but im not thrilled. I was planning to call his small bet and look what he does on turn. If he bets im most likely giving up because of my kicker. Given that he is beting small i dont think i should raise and turn my hand into a bluff, right?

Turn: Ofcourse it has to come :f_biggrin: Now i just cant simply walk away and i have to call here i think.

River: Now we have weak made hand. As u see i have ~12$ behind and the question is how much to raise? He used all his time bank and folded. Or jaming is still good?

      Hello,

The preflop call is a little bit borderline. Anyways I wouldn't mind it so much if we are not going to just play fit or fold but have some plan how to play the hand postflop.

Flop is fine. I don't think raising here and turning our hand into a bluff is going to be a good option.

Turn improves our hand so calling again is fine. Villain could still bet worse hands here.

I think shoving river to maximize our value is good.

      Best,
      Plamen
