Poker Stars, $0.08/$0.16 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 5 Players

      MP: $38.05 (237.8 bb)
      CO: $8.99 (56.2 bb)
      Hero (BTN): $16.56 (103.5 bb)
      SB: $11.25 (70.3 bb)
      BB: $25.21 (157.6 bb) VPIP: 24, PFR: 16, 3B: 8, AF: 1,7, Hands: 180

Preflop: Hero is BTN with A 9
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.40, SB folds, BB calls $0.24

      Flop: ($0.88) 7 Q Q (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.56, BB calls $0.56

      Turn: ($2) K (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.36, BB calls $1.36

      River: ($4.72) 7 (2 players)
      BB bets $1, Hero??

The plan was to put pressure on his lower PP. Betsizes might struggle a bit. (He really likes to 3bet in BB)
What to do on river when he blockbets? We pull out a bluff or we call for info? :D

      Hi gasheks,

      Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: I would cbet slightly larger on both streets but as played I prefer a raise/fold on the river. Even $3.5-$4 can be enough to take it there.

With what he could bet that 1$ on river? Better pocket pairs than 7?

Depends which pockets he doesn't 3-bet preflop.

It's either that or an inducer bet. So our decision should be between raise or fold imo.

A small raise doesn't have to work often.

      I folded this time.

I think he 3bets TT+ in BB. Also i dont think he calls AQ or KQ OOP here.

      So what's his range then?

We have 88-99 (although I'd count some TT). Perhaps some 7x as well. QJ-Q9 and I doubt he has many Kx.

Anything else that you can see?

I see my lack of experience :s_frown:

Hmm, dont see many 7x, the only one might be is 78s. I think he might 3bet bluff with A7. (plays poorly)

Queens are definitely part of his range here.

He has a pretty big gap between VPIP and PFR so his range could be quite wide I'd imagine.

So he may even have other 7x hands too.
