Flop: usually I cbet this board. At the time I just wanted to get more money in. Villain leans more to a passive side so that not might be so good idea after all.

Turn: worst card in the deck. 89 got there, FD got there and he might have JJJ. He could have worse hands like QQ, Tx but I've got 3 TTT so that's less likely. Chose to play it passivelly.

      Thoughts?

      Hello,

I would cbet the flop here.

I think check/call turn looks good as if we bet he is probably going to call us pretty tight.

What's the plan for the river if he bets?

      Best,
      Plamen

I think I would fold. That turn card just hits his b/c range on the flop. I don't know what I beat on the river if he bets? JT and ATo like A

I think folding will be fine.

As you pointed out, we only beat JT/AT and he has a lot more value combos in his range that beat us.

Guys, what affects mostly AF? Maybe you could give some guidelines or some links to threads or so. Would be appreciated.

I think my game is getting better, but AF going really slowly down.

Sorry for offtopic, but we got nice example here :f_biggrin:

      Hey,

AF is the ratio between betting and calling. The exact formula is (bet+raise)/calls so this means that we can have very high AF and not be aggressive at all.

Whereas AF does not include folds, AFq (aggression frequency) does, so I would usually suggest people using it as well (or only it) because I think it gives us a clearer look at the opponent.

      Would turn b/f be ok?

      Whats the optimal AF?

I would rather take the line @dalmar took on the turn, just because I believe his range is strongly consisted with draws.

The optimal AF really depends on the player style. One could say that 2.0 is enough, for someone this is quite low. I would usually suggest to keep it between 2.0-2.5, but then we have to remember that we should be stats-orientated - if you are happy with the results you shouldn't try to raise the aggression.
