      Hello,

      Against 4x open I would probably go for 3bet with this unless this is standard for him.

      I would prefer to float the flop with some backdoor equity here so I think folding flop will be better.

      As played, betting the turn is good.

      Without any information I am folding the river.
      Usually this is rarely a bluff and we are most often beat here.

      why would you 3bet vs 4x open?

      so floating flop with A high isn't good enough? that's good to know I float often with just A high.

      I suppose i just thought it smelled like missed straights or flushes because it's such a peculiar line

      I would 3bet this just because he must be a bad player when he makes it 4bb and is probably folding a lot when being OOP so I prefer to take the pot down here.

      Floating the flop with ace high would be better if we had the Ac, but with such a weak ace I prefer fold.
