      Party Poker $25.00 No Limit Hold'em - 5 players - View hand 2270723

      BTN: $25.00 - VPIP: 15, PFR: 13, 3B: 6, AF: 4,5, Hands: 237
      SB: $36.32 - VPIP: 24, PFR: 17, 3B: 0, AF: 0,5, Hands: 72
      BB: $32.71 - VPIP: 53, PFR: 7, 3B: 0, AF: 3,3, Hands: 60
      Hero (UTG): $25.50 - VPIP: 22, PFR: 18, 3B: 7, AF: 4,5, Hands: 156439
      CO: $25.00 - VPIP: 20, PFR: 15, 3B: 5, AF: 2,9, Hands: 582

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is UTG with J :spade: Q :spade:
Hero raises to $0.75, CO calls $0.75, 3 folds

      Flop: ($1.85) J :club: 5 :club: K  (2 players)
Hero bets $1.25, CO calls $1.25

      Turn: ($4.35) 4  (2 players)
      Hero bets $3.00, CO folds

I have stats on this guy but from lower stakes (I don't remember him) but can't be sure about his calling range from mp vs utg.

      mp cold call/25(17), mp 3bet/12,5(8)

Flop: cbet as this board hits my perceived range. It's too weak to c/f and I don't like c/c.

Turn: I'm not sure about this barrel. With this barrel I'm aiming for AJ (without ) , GSSD and some stubborn PP which might bet if I check.

      Thoughts?

      Hi.

Flop bet is extremely marginal. With AJ maybe you could make a thin value bet. With QJ I don't think you have too much value here.

As played, you should c/c the Turn. Betting only isolates you vs stronger hands. If you check/call, you get to induce bluffs from QT/AQ/AT/hearts/clubs.

      Thanks.

I think there are also a lot of PP in villains range like 66-TT, maybe even more than suited connectors. i think we don't need do bet that much on turn. I would bet a little to make him call his pockets and for pot control.

i am doubtful that pocket pairs lower than TT will even call the Flop, let alone call a 2nd barrel

If you want to bet here, it should be for thin value and not for FE. if you don't think you can get thin value, then check/call.
