      Hero (BTN): $2.20 (110 bb)
      SB: $0.94 (47 bb)
      BB: $2.05 (102.5 bb)
      UTG: $2 (100 bb)
      MP: $4.20 (210 bb)
      CO: $1.57 (78.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with 8 9
2 folds, CO raises to $0.06, Hero raises to $0.18, 2 folds, CO calls $0.12

      Flop: ($0.39) 7 4 8 (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets $0.22, CO raises to $0.44

Wasn't too sure what to do here. Do you think checking back the flop would be good in this spot? its good for 99's plus so they aren't going to fold to one bet, i bet to stop villain getting a free card for AQ/AK. I didn't have any reads on the villain. Villain could check raise with Jacks to 9's or a set. Against this range im 43% If i call he can then pot then pot the turn? Any ideas?

      Hi DrRaab,

Preflop: villain looks fishy given stack size so I wouldn't 3-bet bluff him.

Postflop: As played I would just call the flop. I don't see any reason to raise there.

And once we call we play the turn and give up unimproved versus a large bet.
