Bet small on flop because his stack was very short, I wanted to let him fold. Should I have bet more? Shoved?

I probably should have called his shove, he could be doing this with a lot of draws, I had decent equity against his range

      Hey trzewia,

Preflop 3bet probably fine vs a shorstacker.

Very often the best flop play will be to check. You don't necessarily just want to get all the money in here.

As played I think turn fold is fine. Can easily be a Kx or flush from opponent here.
