      BTN: $17.89 (357.8 bb)
      SB: $22.05 (441 bb)
      Hero (BB): $5 (100 bb)
      UTG: $10.86 (217.2 bb)
      MP: $2.56 (51.2 bb)
      CO: $5.04 (100.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 3 K
4 folds, SB raises to $0.15, Hero calls $0.10

      Flop: ($0.30) K 7 5 (2 players)
SB bets $0.20, Hero calls $0.20

      Turn: ($0.70) 5 (2 players)
SB bets $0.50, Hero calls $0.50

      River: ($1.70) 8 (2 players)
      SB bets $1.20, Hero folds

Villain is 30/23 over 31 hands.

Pre I wasn't sure whether to defend passively or to 3bet. Which would be better here, and why? Or would you even consider a fold here?

As played, pretty standard? I figured I had to call the turn as well, because he could still be betting some worse hands as well including flush draws or possibly even a second pair type hand. On the river I don't think I'm ever good though.

      Hi,

pre flop - our hand is good enough for a call, we can 3bet worse hands. we generally want to be playing a wide range on the BB vs SB and Kxs hands are all good enough for calls usually unless against a very tight range then we want to turn it into a 3betbluff.

as played we can call flop and turn but i dont think hes bluffing the river so its a river fold.

      well played.

      Thanks
