I think it's fine as played, I wouldn't want to give many "free" cards to huge number of players. You got what you were looking for, I would assume he's the type who gets it in here with:

      3 combos of JJ
      3 combos of 99
6 combos that have you beat

1 combo each of AdKd, AdQd, AdJd
      6 combos of AA
      6 combos of KK
let's say half the combos of QQ (3)
      18 combos u are ahead

      cca 65% favourite.

I don't know, I like your play, don't really like just calling the flop. Maybe someone else disagrees ofc.

Fold preflop. 44 is not strong enough to call 3bb from a tight range with 7 players behind. Just a fish on the button is not enough.

Would tend to call flop. Raising flop is difficult with a bluff, not sure what bluff hand you have there that you bluff with. And even if you do bluff raise there people will not give you credit for it. But raise is ok.

All-in now, you can't do anything else. (Call and call down should be extremely similar in EV though).

I have never looked at full ring preflop theory, so I am not 100% sure.

If there is strong players only at the table you are looking for something between 4% and 5% of hands to play there preflop. So that would be between 99, AQ and TT, AK. (If you play a 3bet game you maybe replace some AQo with 98s).

If there is some weak players at the table, you can play more hands. The loosest call in this position I would say is OK would be ATs, KJs, 77. Or if the table is really juicy with a lot of fish, then maybe A2s, 98s, 22.
