not the best hand, not the best play either.

i think i should have done this with a better hand, but given the action infront of me, i decided not to give up this spot and experiment with stuffs.. BTN 3bets like 18% OTB.
as played. not sure board is great or not. I rep lots of Ax, he does have some of them too. and other KQ KJ JT QT QJ and JJ and QQ in his range.

not sure turn should have been a barrel.. what should i consider in this spot? i just think he could have some stubborn 99 JJ QQ KQ KJ type hands that folds on 2nd barrel. plus i picked up a little more equity. not sure hands like AJ would have folded.

-for 4bets, what sort of bluffs type hands do we include that is good in such a situation? like AQ? or something?
-what should my flop cbet and turn cbet size be?
-what other ways can i improve a play in this type of situation, i.e folding pre. or 4bet sizing, and 4bet with strong hands like etc etc..

      Hi leemingloon,

Preflop: I would not cold 4-bet bluff junk like this. Ideally we want some blockers or at least some extended value range given the small sizes involved (and the increased likelihood that he will call our 40bet). Against him AQ may be value but Ax or Kx hands are good bluff hands.

As played the cbet size is fine (about 1/3 pot) but I would not bluff that board with our no equity hand. Same for the turn and I think we just got lucky.

      But really just fold pre.,
