had 45 hands on villain 35% fold to 3bet. My thoughts were he would shove if he had the flush on the river not bet 50c. Also being a 3bet pot i thought it would be harder for him to have a flush draw. i thought he may play the same with AJ/AQ with the bet on the river to get AK/AQ to fold?

      Hi DrRaab,

Preflop: I would 3-bet larger than just 3x being OOP and against a potential fish.

Postflop: I think that you are better off betting the river yourself for pure value versus pairs, especially Ax that may be scared and checks back.
