      Flop: ($3.25) 5 K 9 (2 players)
Hero bets $2.10, BTN calls $2.10

      Turn: ($7.45) J (2 players)
Hero bets $5, BTN raises to $13, Hero???

20/17, fold to cbet (flop)42, (turn)35/ raise cbet (flop)18, (turn)12/ bet vs missed cbet turn 64/ wtsd 25/ 40k hands

Should we 2nd barrel here, or could this be a good spot for check/raise? After I bet, and got raised? I get quite okay potodds, but my hand is quite transparent if I hit. Can we call here?

      Hi Holy93,

      Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: Based on the info you posted he doesn't seem to be raising a ton so his range should be on the stronger side on the turn. That J hits a lot of what he can be calling on the flop with (high cards w/ gutshots/draws). He could have some worse draws raising but I think shoving vs him would be spewy. So really we can only call or fold.

And while the call may appear transparent we also have some Kx or other hands that we can call with rather than stick it in with (so it shouldnt be all flushes).

As far as the ck/raise goes it would be good if this villain bet hands like weak Kx or Jx and we can put pressure on those.
