Bypassing the proxy.

I'm in India for a student exchange program for 4 months. However, I can't login onto my partypoker client. I can login onto my Bodog client, and can get a list of the active tables, but can't sit down.

I think there's a proxy blocking this. I contacted the IT reposible and he told me "We have the ports blocked for online games."

So, how can I get around this and still play?

You can't bypass the blocked ports, unless you can change the port which the poker room is working on, but you can't do that either.
The best option would be, get yourself some kind of mobile internet or something, dunno really what's available in India.

Or hook on someone's unportected Wireless conn. :D
