      when nobody shows interest in the pot on the turn, is it okay to stab at it?

      i'd even consider betting the flop i think. when the PFA checks he's probably giving up. only real worry is BB but i think we have enough FE. as played on the turn i think betting is good.

      i don't think we really need to make our bet so big though because we are trying to make him fold a weak range (overs, 44,66). if he has 88, 99 or some weirdly played Tx hand then he probably won't fold to your sizing anyway. if that happens then we lose the most against his range whereas a smaller bet would probably have the same effect only we lose less when he chooses to continue.

      I think check Flop bet Turn is fine. But as DrDunne said you should probably just bet smaller, like around half pot.

      This is more of a protection bet than anything else and betting larger really serves no real purpose.
