Yesterday I tried to register for the ticket lottery freeroll, but I could not find it. As I was searhing for it, I also noticed that VIP freerolls and VIP added tournaments are gone. Is this a temporary thing or do they mean to replace them with something else?

      Hey wizo,

Have you contacted PKR live support? Chances are they will have all the answers for you here :) I haven't heard of anything regarding these tournaments so unfortunately I am of no use to you here :(

Let us know of any developments!

      Best regards,
      Gary.

Well PKR sunk to a new low this time.

For the month of September 2013 the VIP reward will be daily Flip allin tournaments.

If you like bingo then PKR is your site.

      For poker, better look elsewhere.

Flippaments seem to have become common place among the poker rooms right now. Maybe because the are aiming for more recreational players?

      Just a thought.

      Recreational PLAYERS want to play...

The fun of a flippament is very short lived.

The aim is to redistribute the money at random, so the better players don't get an edge.

PokerStrategy should be against such practices. We come here to learn poker and then the sites are offering us flippaments where there is no strategy involved.

You'll find a lot of sites that have casino and/or sportsbook crossover traffic will push flipaments as a means to attract traffic from the other arms of their operation.

I got sick of Carnage flipaments starting to take over sats on Microgaming (another crossover network) to the point where I stopped playing there.

PKR is mostly geared towards recreational players. Their VIP system sucks. The fact that you can throw points away dressing up avatars and buying virtual drinks for other players (and yourself).

Premium and Points freerolls have little value.

Their tourney schedule sucks, and if you want to MT grind then you play NL2 or NL2.

Even though I play there rarely, I'll stick with them because I'm tracked through PS. :)

Also, I don't see what it has to do with PokerStrategy's affiliation with PKR.

Pokerstars had 5 massive flipaments ant the beginning of September. There was money awarded and WCOOP tickets. First price at one of the tournaments i think was 100k$.

I was qualified for two of the 5 tournaments and won 7,5$ :D . Lucky me.

So what i want to say is that those tournaments are much fun and a very nice sort of lottery. They attract many recreational players at the tables and of course this is exactly what we want and what is entire poker market aiming for.

At PKR i found flipaments as pretty much fun so it would be really bad if those are gone.

What is better than buy a drink to sexy lady and on the other table win a flipament?

So if flipaments are now the new way to play poker, then let's have a video: "How to win flipaments".

I'd be watching it because I have only won 1 single hand in a flipament thus far!

I need a flipament coach too.

I run damn bad in flipaments but not sure why you complain it is still a free extra.

$1000 free flipament daily with about 1K entrants that's not too bad

I guess some people are never happy ;)

I'm happy because they are free.

But I could be happier if they were real tournaments. :f_pleased:

actually I prefer the lottery format for the FR,

It means that i don't have to sit in front of a slow ass tournament for 3 hours to make it ITM and win $0.30 :D

Given that you are platinum, I can understand that.

But some like to use freerolls to practice their new found skills from PokerStrategy. =)

And it is possible to make more than 30cents.

Winning $8 is all very nice but it's not about the money.

Are you happy with the way you played? :P
