There had been several SB vs BB battles and I had been playing aggressively, raising and reraising several times. It was the first time he had raised me post flop.

Should I have raised the flop more to 3X or more?
Can I fold to a big bet on the turn or river?

      CO: $8 (80 bb)
      BTN: $9.24 (92.4 bb)
      SB: $26.64 (266.4 bb)
      Hero (BB): $34.55 (345.5 bb)
      UTG: $33.97 (339.7 bb)
      MP: $10 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A K
4 folds, SB completes, Hero raises to $0.40, SB calls $0.30

      Flop: ($0.80) 4 8 K (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.40, SB raises to $0.80, Hero raises to $1.80, SB calls $1.00

      Turn: ($4.40) 8 (2 players)
SB bets $3.05, Hero calls $3.05

      River: ($10.50) Q (2 players)
SB bets $5.50, Hero calls $5.50

      Results:
      $21.50 pot ($1.08 rake)
      Final Board: 4 8 K 8 Q
      SB showed 8 9
      Hero showed A K

      Hi.

I dont think u should reraise the flop unless u think he checkraises the flop and will call your raise with many worse hands. If not i would expect most peoples ranges to be polarized.

As played i dont see how u can fold and call down.

      Thanks.
