Having said that... feel free to read. :D

Hey guys, the last couple of weeks have been kinda rough on the tables, specially this last weekend.

It's been already a couple of weeks that I've been facing some trouble to go up, I was breaking even untill last friday when a two hour session full of bad beats (a few mistakes here and there too, but mostly bad luck) made me go down $550 (for those who doesn't know, I've been playing NL100 BSS).
Well, that's OK, it happenned before, not in such a short period of time, but it has.
Hit the tables on saturday and sunday, another $150 went down the drain.

Then, on today's session very first hand...

"Oh... crap..."

Outcome: MP3 won $198.50

Ok, just move on... and play your best game...

Exactly 8 hands later, against the same opponent...

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (8 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

SB ($106)
BB ($102.50)
Hero (UTG) ($100)
UTG+1 ($227)
MP1 ($119.35)
MP2 ($194.15)
CO ($46.15)
Button ($300.50)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K  , K :spade:

"Hey, KK again... at least I'm getting some good cards.."

Hero raises to $4, 4 folds, Button raises to $13.50, 2 folds, Hero raises to $40, Button raises to $300.50 (All-In), Hero calls $60 (All-In)

Well, here I stopped to think about it... I know the guy doesn't 4-bet AK... so it's very unlikely he'd 5-bet shove AK... but, on the other hand, he gave me a beat a few hands ago, so he might think I'm tilting and might do this with a range wider than KK+... and if he's on anything wider than QQ+, I definetely have to call his push... besides this, I always deliberately take some time to do anything on the table, even when it's an insta-decision... that means it took me some time to 4-bet him... that may leave him wondering if I'm on tilt or not... so I definetely think he'd shove at least QQ+, so I call.

Button shows A :club: , A

"Huh... great..."

Flop: ($201.50) 2  , K :club: , A :diamond: (2 players, 2 all-in)

Turn: ($201.50) Q :club: (2 players, 2 all-in)

River: ($201.50) 6 :club: (2 players, 2 all-in)

Total pot: $201.50 | Rake: $3

Outcome: Button won $198.50

Notice that even if for some reason I had decided to just call his 3-bet and see a flop, I'd still get screwed because I'd flop a set... and he'd flop a higher set... it seems there are some evil forces working against me.

So, in just one orbit I was down $200. That's OK, just keep your cool and move on.

Well, throughout the session, every single hand I missed on the flop, my c-bet either got called or raised...
And every single hand I hit the flop... everyone folded to my c-bet.
Every big pair I got dealt, I raised PF and everyone folded. Well, the KK that got called... lost the hand.
Well, fortunately, at least I was able to steal some blinds... :P

But... I can't say I didn't win any pot larger than $10...

Button ($110.45)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 10 :diamond: , Q :diamond:
UTG raises to $3.50, 1 fold, MP1 calls $3.50, MP2 calls $3.50, 3 folds, Hero calls $2.50

A somewhat loose call PF, but it's a nice hand, I got nice odds and I'm closing the action, only bad thing is I don't have position post-flop.

Flop: ($14.50) J :spade: , K  , 8 :club: (4 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $14.50, 2 folds, Hero raises to $50, 1 fold

Well, I certainly don't have enough FE to bet out so I just check and see what happens.
Nice, now I'm HU.
Don't know much about villain, so neither does he about me... but he hasn't played too many hands.. just been sitting there quiet.
If he's tight, a check/raise here gives me good FE.
I raise and take down the pot.

Total pot: $43.50 | Rake: $2.15

Outcome: Hero won $41.35

Well, the bigget pot won in this session... it brought a smile to my face... :)

And just to finish this somewhat long post... I got dealt KK again!!

Now I think I know what made Greenstein write that book... never read the book though.

Well, finishing the session I'm down almost another $300. That means almost $1k in four days.

What's more frustrating is that it's almost what I managed to win the whole year on NL50 and NL100, my BR just didn't got destroyed because of all the bonuses I won throughtout the year (Gotta love those bonuses now!! :D ).

After that I had to go out and dance zouk!

"Let me hold you
Girl caress my body
You got me going crazy, you
Turn me on, Turn me on

Hug me, Hug me
Kiss me, Kiss me
Hug me, Hug me
Kiss and caress me."

Yeah, dancing zouk is good. :D
