Hero mucked K K and lost (-$2.10 net)

      Preflop standart isoraise.

Seeing the flop I don't think there is more than two streets of value at best. So I'm check/folding because he seems passive.

On the turn I'm betting. We could probably discount two pairs, sets of his range. Still, if I put him gutshots, Jx in his calling range, I don't have 50% equity to make a valuebet.

Not sure if he calls TT, 99, all that trash like T7 etc. Am I missing here something or all that's left is a check/fold all the way :f_eek: ? Thanks

      Hey J,

The main thing your are missing is that when he bets, you get certain odds to call, so you don't need to be ahead of his range.

I think your line is fine. You will get called by Jx and some TT, 99 type hands often enough. You can consider checking the turn as well and betting just river but he calls way too much, having 48% WTSD.

Yes, but when I'm betting I need to be 50% ahead, right?

Yes, but I think quite a few Ax, JJ, AJ type hands bet IP on the flop anyway so your estimate of his range is not that accurate. When he checks back he probably has more random pairs and Jx than Ax. You basiclaly give him just about all Ax.

INitially I though you refer to bluffcatching vs bet when showing that range and then saying check/fold all the way with 50% equity.
