      Hi

You might want to think about what you are trying to achieve with each of your plays on each street. Then I'll tell you what I think.

why not choose a bet/fold line on the river here? If we get raised we can safely fold knowing we're behind and we get value when we're ahead. As you say, villain could have AxXd with a lower diamond than yours (AxTd for example) but we don't really have enough stats to know what is smooth call range is preflop here. He may even have something like TxTd?

First we need to think about how loose/tight the fish is. If the fish is playing 70% of hands preflop, I think this would be a pretty easy 3-barrel for value with J high flush.

Since he's only playing 20% of hands, I don't think you have 3-streets of value here. Your hand is not really afraid of any single Turn card, and if that's the case, don't you think checking Flop is going to be better here?

What happens is that you will often get to induce more bluffs from the fish (fishes tend to completely misread your hand strength in such situations if you do check) and even if they do check back, you can bet the Turn and River and you'll often find that they call down lighter on Turn and River.
