Preflop: 4 handed we steal raise loosely from the CO.
Flop: Aggressive SB donks into me. I can't see any worse hands calling if I raise, so opt for a call here thinking SB is testing to see if his medium pair or Q is good. He might also have a weak A
Turn: I pick up the nut flush draw and bet for value. As played is this standard?
River: The board pairs and I can't see any worse hands calling a value bet and often we're splitting here so I opt for a check, because my hand has showdown value and I certainly don't want to be chk/raised.

      Thoughts?

      Hi,

pre flop - this is not loose at all. its an ok open even if we are 6 handed.

flop call is fine, he could be betting random crap here

turn - what are we gettin value from here? worse flush draws? Q? if there is any its pretty little so i like a smaller sized bet, maybe even 6bb.

river- no worse hands are calling a bet here so check is best

      Thanks

On the turn I think I'm getting value from Ax hands that I split with because I have 9 outs to the nut flush.

      Hi,

how often does he has Ax there and how many Ax is ahead of you? A9 is ahead so we split with A8 and below. and how much extra value are we getting?

      Equity Win Tie
      MP2 48.73% 24.45% 24.27% Ad3d
      MP3 51.27% 27.00% 24.27% A8s-A2s, A8o-A2o

as you can see we are behind every Ax except A2

what risks are we opening ourself up to? a better hand calling? or a worse hand check/raising?

      Thanks

ok, so actually my bet here is a semi-bluff and I want him to fold Ax hands that beat me and call with worse flush draws and Q's.

      Hi,

i would check back the turn against him, hes not folding Ax hands here but might call worse flush draws but he does not have that many worse flush draws in his range that would play this way. and Qx may not call.

however against someone with a wider range like maybe 40/10 then we can definitely bet this again for value. 18/16 does not have enough hands that we can bet for value against

      Thanks
