      BTN: 285.62 BB (VPIP: 25.00, PFR: 22.86, 3Bet Preflop: 12.07, Hands: 141)
      SB: 184.56 BB (VPIP: 19.36, PFR: 15.45, 3Bet Preflop: 6.80, Hands: 1,178)
      BB: 38.12 BB (VPIP: 33.33, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 3)
      UTG: 31.78 BB (VPIP: 18.75, PFR: 15.63, 3Bet Preflop: 14.29, Hands: 32)

      Hero (CO): 173.34 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 8:club: 8:heart:

fold, fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, BTN calls 3 BB, fold, BB raises to 38.12 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 35.12 BB, fold

      Flop: (79.74 BB, 2 players) Q:spade: K:diamond: Q:heart:

      Turn: (79.74 BB, 2 players) J:heart:

      River: (79.74 BB, 2 players) K:heart:

BB shows J:diamond: A:heart: (Two Pair, Kings and Queens) (Pre 45%, Flop 47%, Turn 95%)
Hero shows 8:club: 8:heart: (Two Pair, Kings and Queens) (Pre 55%, Flop 53%, Turn 5%)
      BB wins 76.16 BB

I get 43% pot odds, so which range should I call?

If he shoves 88+,AJ+ then I have 40% with 88 so I cant call.
If he shoves 22+,AJ+ then I have 52%.

Would it be ok to call TT+, AQ+ to reduce variance since I dont know his range?

What do you think is his shoving range?

      Hi mlatasrb,

Preflop: You are steal vs resteal and he is pretty short.

Since we have invested so little I think you can avoid calling too light given the big pot odds you need because, as you can see, you need a really wide range there to even be slightly profitable.

      I think I'd call TT+, AQ+ without info.
