This seems to be a bit of a trend atm, ppl are 5bing fairly small. Does anyone have any thoughts on it? Unless they have complete air they are committed to any shove so not sure if they are doing it with a pure value range hoping for people to spaz? Or if they are doing it as a super cheap bluff....

In my opinion (not worth much tbh) the 4Bet is the one that is way too small.

      As for the converter:
HM2 has a good one -- and I assume PT4 does as well. If you have either, no need for an other one.

      I use feral cow.

Go through a few hands in the hand evaluation forums and see what other people use.

Doesn't PokerStrategy.com have one any more?
      We used to...

      Peace,

4b too small, yes totally agree thought it was CO v blinds, so 4b should be bigger agreed. But seeing this play a lot ATM....

Small 4bets are popular right now and you do get into situations where 5betting wouldn't commit you even 100bb deep so you can do it both as a bluff or for val. As 5b shoving sucks vs super small 4bets because of poor risk/reward.

pretty normal move I'd say. You obv have to figure out on each individual player basis whether they do it as a bluff often, or just val expecting you to spazz.

In my games I'd say almost everyone who has such play in their arsenal do mix it up w bluffs and val.
