Hey guys - What is the best/ most dynamic/ least word heavy way to share hands in posts?

I saw in one blog a guy shared a link and it played the hand in another window but can't seem to work it out.

      Thanks!

      Hey Welshnm!

      I just moved your thread.

In what blog did you see this? Or can you post the link so I can see what you mean?

Also do you have any kind of tracking software like Holdem Manger or Poker Tracker?

      Best regards

Ok the easiest way (for me) to share a hand on the forum is this.

      1. Right click on the hand you want to share.
      2. Click on 'view'.
      3. Now a pop up window opens and you want to be looking at the bottom right corner.
      4. You see "copy to clipboard" and on the right of that there is a dropdown menu.
      5. In the dropdown menu search for "Pokerstrategy" and click on it.
      6. Click on copy to clipboard.
      7. Go to the forums, create a new post.
      8. Right click and click on paste or just CRTL+V.

The hand will be posted like this

IPoker, $0.10/$0.20 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

      BB: $20 (100 bb)
      Hero (UTG): $25.76 (128.8 bb)
      MP: $23.80 (119 bb)
      CO: $12.23 (61.2 bb)
      BTN: $5.29 (26.5 bb)
      SB: $8.19 (40.9 bb)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 2 7
2 folds, CO raises to $0.60, BTN calls $0.60, SB calls $0.50, BB folds

      Flop: ($2) A 8 J (3 players)
SB checks, CO bets $1, BTN calls $1, SB folds

      Turn: ($4) 8 (2 players)
CO bets $1.20, BTN raises to $3.69 and is all-in, CO calls $2.49

      River: ($11.38) 4 (2 players, 1 is all-in)

      Results:
      $11.38 pot ($0.56 rake)
      Final Board: A 8 J 8 4
      CO showed 5 A and won $5.41 ($0.12 net)
      BTN showed A T and won $5.41 ($0.12 net)

If you are playing on PokerStars you can use the Boomplayer and post a link on the forum and then people will go to a replayer. I don't know how boomplayer works though so someone else is going to have to help me here.

I hope this helped you a bit? If not then tell me what you are looking for and I'll try again or get someone else in here.

      Best regards

      That is very helpful!!

I was hoping for something that didn't take up so much room on the page but that works too :D

      Thanks for your time!!

Still open to other suggestions forum members - if you can think of anything else.

It does take up some room but because of the room it's pleasant for the eyes.

Btw you don't play on stars?

      I'm back :s_cool:

And I might have found what you wanted to do.

      1. Right click on the hand you want to share.
      2. Click on "copy"
      3. Go to http://www.weaktight.com
      4. Go to "post hand"
      5. Paste the hand history in the empty box.
      6. Click on "submit"
      7. Then wait for a second and you'll see your hand converted like I just posted.
      8. Now underneath the "post hand" tab there is an add and just under that add on the right hand site you'll see "view in replayer" in blue. Click on that.
      9. A new tab will open in your internet browser (with firefox it will).
      10. You'll see a replayer and at the top there is a link to the replayer.
      11. Copy the link and post them in the forum.

Now it should look like this. My hand in replayer

This one was a bit more tricky. If you are having troubles with this tell me and I'll make a couple of screenshots.

      Regards

It seems like there is something wrong with HH file.

When you click 'View' in HM2 then just click 'Copy to clipboard' when window opens. Then paste it in our hand converter and it should be fine. I will do a check immediately after i come home (in about 2 hours or so) if my words were correct.

      Hey Walshnm,

The PokerStrategy.com hand converter only supports PokerStars hand histories. If you want to use a hand converter to convert hands from other poker rooms, weaktight is a very good alternative: weaktight hand converter

      Hope that helps!

      Kind regards,
      Tino

I have exported directly from HEM like you suggested but still the same problem :/

Any other suggestions? It looks like it is some kind of syntax error with my HEM.

I tried to post your hand on weaktight but it didn't recognize betting sizes. Something is strange here.
