can any1 help. im slow with math.

Total equity needed to call = Total chips you need to call/Total potsize after call

i need to figure out what is my equity when i call villains open jams at the following stack sizes

villain open jams 12bb , 11bb, 10bb, 9bb, 8bb effective stack sizes

It's very simple really.

Without antes and 12bb stack sizes (after accounting for the blinds), you need to win:

12 / (12 * 2 + 1.5) = 12 / 25.5 = ~47% of the time to break even.

Same calculation applies for all other stack sizes. For example 8bb (again after accounting for the blinds:

8 / (8 * 2 + 1.5) = 8 / 17.5 = ~45.7% of the time.

It's as simple as that

Hero on BB facing open jam without antes. All sizes are effective stacksizes excluding the blind. 8bb means villain is jamming 7,5bb while putting 0,5bb as sb.
