      Hello everybody!

Some of you already know that Finnish Community has been taken down due to some legal issues. It's one of the factors that drove me back here in English community (some of you might even remember my pity blog and my point of views in hand evaluations). However, what would be a better way to start integrating here than a campaign like this! A dream of mine would be to have some sort of a coaching with a real player, and this should motivate me to keep on going.

First of all I have to admit though that I won't be able to win this competition with my volume. I'm way too busy for that - I am a 21-yrs-old university student in Tampere, Finland, and University really takes all my spare time. I also write some political and sports blogs in Finnish, so it eats some of my time, too. There's also social life and, despite all the odds, women that are craving for attention.

Who am I as a poker player? I've played poker in somewhat good attitude for 1-1,5 yrs. I'm currently playing NL25 on PokerStars, however, I am a poor student so I have to withdraw more money than I can earn there. That's why I try to play this project on NL10 (to keep my BR in control) and I will try to make as much profit as possible. When I have 40 bin for NL25, I will go back there and play 4 tables on zoom.

I will still set some goals for this month:

:club: Grind 4-5 days a week, 4 x hour session with 4-6 zoom tables - aim for 40k+ hands

:club: Make 1 session review/week, post 3 blog posts a week here with my own thoughts about my game - how it went, what mistakes I made, state of mind

:club: Start going to gym and do your homework in time - not as easy as it sounds for me :D

:club: Play aggressive, but remember to keep it selected - don't overestimate your opponents as usual.

Okay, so here are the goals. I've beaten my tilt issues already in the past and I'm able to control my sessions length so I won't play tired or so. Everything should be ready for my first session!

P.s My Nickname on PokerStars, which I will be playing this month, is very hard to guess... It's
      CPallo

      And Game on! :s_cool:

Edit: Nice side challenge - from NL10 to NL25(NL50) in a month? Ez game.

Thanks :D I think you still should try to participate, only 10k hands is required to win the legendary "Kumiankka" ;D

Quick update before some real update,

Short 550 hands session yesterday on NL10. Ok play, not special. Was in a hurry so couldn't play more. I think my weekend volume will be extremely low, but I will do better next week ;)

I will update some graph here ASAP, perhaps tomorrow :D

Oh good, way too low volume now. I'm sure I'll catch up next week for sure. I want rubber duck! :D

One Omaha hand includes six Holdem hands. So to compensate the low volume you should play PLO!

I've been actually playing only Omaha this weekend and MTT's. I had some sort of a bright idea about the depths of PLO. And it worked! I didn't lose my whole stack :D

Ok, PokerStars just made my day. They have this promotion "Mission Impossible". It gives you a ticket to lottery (usually I don't win a thing). Doesn't matter, chance to win big for free, so why not to attend?

      So, first great real update!

Todays first session, length: 1 hour, result: BB/100 9.14, hands: 1,5k

Okay, so first session was with 4x NL10 zoom tables and 2x NL5 - Didn't want to put any FR tables as I wouldn't have such edge there versus opponents than I have in 6-max. And in this campaign the volume/results correlation should be the most impotent thing, right  ?

So, I played quite well tbh. I think I should have raised a bit more from CO and 3-bet a bit more from blinds, but otherwise I think I did great. My run was good, too, so it explains some of my good results (unfortunately). Still, I was able to play quite balanced and my best A-game.

      Rate: 8/10.

      Hand:

Flatters range here could be wide as heaven - however, he is never having a good hand there when he flats. The one squeezing gives some of his hand strength out by that 3-bet sizing, but with the fish and the money in the pot, I think my play is standard. Just lolled to the flatter's hand, though :D

Okay, time to wrap up the day!

Second session lasted for less than an hour, and I got 1k hands there. Results were good, so was my game - I was able to exploit the weakness' people provided me and attack when it was necessary, even though my red line goes down a bit :D . In some spots I could have most likely taken a bit more value from villain, but I think that I got more than I deserved. My game was A- or so now, so I'm quite happy with it (the volume was huge man!)

      Session Rate: 8/10
      Result (whole day): 17,72bb/100

Not bad day today, tbh. One hand from this later session:

      So;

Pre-flop: I think flatting against such a huge open is the best way to go - might be a missclick, but then again, against 4-bet I would have to give up.

Post-flop: Quite dirty play from us both :D Villain seemed like a speww-whale, so I don't mind how it end up. I think he overplayed a bit!

      Hero showed J J and won $36.81 ($17.73 net)

      Another good one,

We had some dynamics here (I think he gets irritated with my 3-bets and so on). I think I could have played this one way more aggressive, though it's always fun to make slowplays with quads. This time river was a big friend ;o

Hopefully I don't have to cheat and take some older hands.. :D But I hope I will see that graph, too. I read some articles today about bluffing and planning and it made me see things in a brighter light again. Hopefully I can adapt the new concepts I learn, even with 6 zoom tables!

Today I was able to play 3 sessions. Results were quite break-even after all, which was disappointing. Good run didn't last and I even got some set-ups in the way. No can do :D

Here's the giraffe for the day. One thing that is positive is I got nearly my red-line to stay above 0. The last hand of the day ruined it, unfortunately :D

SO, I'm rating my sessions today 7+. Somehow I didn't feel right all the time and in the end of the sessions I started to lose my focus on tables. On some occasions I was just wondering, how did I end up post-flop and couldn't remember whether I was the aggressor or not :D

      This hand was nice:
