Played 50 now - have had a break over the last few days but want to give them another go - losing money hand over fist so far. Do my stats tell you anything?. I have posted quite a few hands up and it seems i am getting them money in right most of the time late on - i think my problem may be in the early/mid blind levels - any TIPS - Please :) i used to just play one when i was playing cash games - but now i like to play2/3 at the same time.

      Hi punta,

you cant tell anything after only 50 SnG's. I've had times that I've only cashed 2-3 times out of 30-40 SnG's.

If you are loosing money in the early/mid stages, chances are your playing to loose. In the early stages you should be playing really tight. Its important to change gears at the right times when approaching the middle stages. If you are following the SHC's then they will teach you how to change gears.

You do have alot of 3rd place finishes. It could just be variance, but thats a sign that you are playing to tight on the bubble, and spewing chips. Its important to play loose on the bubble, as there is alot of loose chips for the taking.

If you follow the SHC's strictly, you should be fine. As over a bigger sample size it will earn you $$$.

      Best regards,

Starting playing these again - going to watch quite a few sng vids then its all go - still not doing that well though. Struggle with the $1 3 min turbos, so going to just do the $3 and $2 standard ones for a while now.

I lost a lot of variance on my SnG results since i changed to regular. It takes only 15-20 minutes extra, but the few minutes extra grinding on each blind just gives you the edge to survive a few places..

There are also a lot of blow-ups, they just risk their entire 25BB stack preflop with AJs or other semi-premium hands...
