      Hey all,

Earlier today I ran into this hand:

I had A :spade: K :spade: and the flop came J :diamond: 9 :spade: 6 :spade:

The basic article states that a flushdraw is a strong draw and overcards are a weak draw. Put together, do they make a monsterdraw (like a gutshot+overcards) or does it remain a strong draw?

Thanks for any help you can give!

In that hand u have a pretty strong draw, since u are drawing to nut flush and in your case u also have backdoor straight draw.

Monster draw would be OESD + flush draw for example

K :spade: Q:spade: on 7:diamond: T:spade: J:spade: flop , where u are actually a favourite against someone holding 2 pairs for example, and only behind a set but not by much.

Btw gutshot + overcards isnt a monster draw its more like a semi/strong draw
