      Hi Davidangel,

      Since the four on the river is of no importance since the Eight is already paired so you have Two Pair (Aces and Eights) and since you already checked the turn, you should check the river as well.

      I would have bet for value on the Turn and fold to a RRaise.
      Then on the river like this (blank) I would have betted again.

      River: 1/2 pot.
