      Hi everyone,

thought that opening a blog would motivate me to play a bit more so here we go!

About hero, 21 yr old uni student. Have been playing poker for couple of years now, sometimes with a little bit weaker outcome and sometimes with a little bit better. I believe that I'm a winning player in nl25 and nl50, but hopefully with some work I can really beat those levels. So right now playing nl25 at stars. Unfortunately I'm not getting any strategy points from stars since f'd up the sign up. :f_frown:

      My goals:
:diamond: From nl25 to nl50 before the end of the year
:diamond: Improve my skills, especially focusing postflop
:diamond: Improve my mental game, no more spewing and tilting
:diamond: Update the blog at least once a week
      :diamond: Play ~50k hands/month

      Today:

Played quite a lot today. And games went pretty nicely. Though one bluff that I'm not really sure whether it was ok or not...

      Some hands:
      1. Opponent seemed to be a okish reg playing 28/24/12,5 over 220hands and folding 91% to 3bets.

Opponent kept folding to my 3bets all the time so obv I had a pretty wide 3betting range vs him, especially IP sc=nuts. :) Didn't cbet cause thought there wouldn't be too much folding equity on that board and my image was aggro on postflop also. Put opponent after calling the 3bet pre on a range {66-JJ, AJ,AQ,KQ,QJs,ATs}. Can't imo fold the turn/river since he having a quite a narrow value range so call.

      SB: $12.72 (50.9 bb)
      BB: $10 (40 bb)
      MP: $20 (80 bb)
      CO: $31.80 (127.2 bb)
      Hero (BTN): $39.05 (156.2 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with 6 9
MP folds, CO raises to $0.75, Hero raises to $2, 2 folds, CO calls $1.25

      Flop: ($4.35) 7 7 5 (2 players)
      CO checks, Hero checks

      Turn: ($4.35) 9 (2 players)
CO bets $3, Hero calls $3

      River: ($10.35) 4 (2 players)
CO bets $5.50, Hero calls $5.50

      2. Been taking a little bit more passive lines vs most aggressive players lately and it has been working pretty nicely. Here the BTN is a huge fish and I believe I have the odds to call pre here. Hit the nuts and triple check=opponent goes insane.

      Hero (UTG): $25.28 (101.1 bb)
      MP: $30.51 (122 bb)
      CO: $26.33 (105.3 bb)
      BTN: $30.06 (120.2 bb)
      SB: $39.53 (158.1 bb)
      BB: $28.84 (115.4 bb)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 4 4
Hero raises to $0.75, MP raises to $2.50, CO folds, BTN calls $2.50, 2 folds, Hero calls $1.75

      Flop: ($7.85) 2 A 4 (3 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $5.50, BTN folds, Hero calls $5.50

      Turn: ($18.85) 7 (2 players)
      Hero checks, MP checks

      River: ($18.85) K (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $22.51 and is all-in, Hero calls $17.28 and is all-in

      Results: $53.41 pot ($2 rake)
      Final Board: 2 A 4 7 K
      Hero showed 4 4 and won $51.41 ($26.13 net)
MP showed T J and lost (-$25.28 net)

      3. The bad bluff I already mentioned.

      Opponent 18/13/5,5 | 3b in sb vs btn 14 | WTSD 23 | agg% 25 | cbet 54 | skip cbet and fold 80

Don't know if I were little bit overrating my postflop skills with this call, but opponent is a passive and tight so not the worst play ever but not the best either. Plan was to bet vs check on the flop. Put opponent on {QJ,JJ,QQ,AT,Tx}-range after the flop ck/cl. Don't know if I should've continued turn and river or just given up after the flop. At least don't think that bet turn ckbck river is an option(?). Anyways fold pre, even though 53s is nuts IP... :f_biggrin:

Like said of the 2nd hand there are lots of maniac players on these levels and apparently I'm one of them. :f_cool: Shoving without having clear view whether it is good spot to bluff or not.

      Hero (BTN): $51.26 (205 bb)
      SB: $25.60 (102.4 bb)
      BB: $32.66 (130.6 bb)
      MP: $38.94 (155.8 bb)
      CO: $26.13 (104.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with 3 5
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.50, SB raises to $2, BB folds, Hero calls $1.50

      Flop: ($4.25) K K T (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $2.50, SB calls $2.50

      Turn: ($9.25) Q (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $4.75, SB calls $4.75

      River: ($18.75) 6 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $42.01 and is all-in

      GL to games everyone!

Unfortunately don't have that option since being only a bronze level member. :p And if I remember correctly I should be at least silver to get analyzes to nl25 hands.

Nice day today too, running a "little" bit hot at the moment. :D Added up some nl50 at the couple of last sessions, but basically BE there. Played pretty much just abc-game, nothing too fancy.

      Some hands:

      1. Opponent 27/21/5,2 WTSD 31 hands 350

I like to usually raise here on the flop with the nuts since we represent very narrow range. That's why I'm ~never bluffing here. Not too interesting hand but not even a long ago I would've thought that how the board runs destroys our hand and would've checked on the river. :f_biggrin:

      Hero (SB): $63.84 (255.4 bb)
      BB: $25.22 (100.9 bb)
      CO: $25.70 (102.8 bb)
      BTN: $25 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 3 3
CO raises to $0.75, BTN folds, Hero calls $0.65, BB folds

      Flop: ($1.75) 3 T T (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $1, Hero raises to $3.50, CO calls $2.50

      Turn: ($8.75) 4 (2 players)
Hero bets $5.75, CO calls $5.75

      River: ($20.25) 4 (2 players)
Hero bets $53.84 and is all-in, CO calls $15.70 and is all-in

      2. Opponent 30/26/12 100 hands

Opponent seemed to be semi solid. I tend to raise donks on these situations with a pair every time. Us having a pair reduces set combinations and I've noticed that on these levels donk/raising draws is extremely rare, so basically their range after donk/call here is flush draws 88-TT A7 maybe. And I believe most of the regs fold their pairs on the turn. So basically its valuebetting vs flushdraw imho. :f_pleased:

      CO: $25 (100 bb)
      Hero (BTN): $25 (100 bb)
      SB: $29.88 (119.5 bb)
      BB: $46.30 (185.2 bb)
      UTG: $44.95 (179.8 bb)
      MP: $14.84 (59.4 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with 3 A
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.50, SB calls $0.40, BB folds

      Flop: ($1.25) 3 2 7 (2 players)
SB bets $1, Hero raises to $3.75, SB calls $2.75

      Turn: ($8.75) J (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $5.25, SB calls $5.25

      River: ($19.25) 8 (2 players)
      SB checks, Hero checks

      3. First time seeing this opponent, played 24/19 60hands

Betsizes, betsizes, nothing yells "I don't have a valuehand" like this kind of betsizes on the turn + river. And my perceived range is imo very drawheavy. So his play is not necessarily bad imo, but I were in the zone (lol) and his betsizes gave away his plan here.

      UTG: $25.98 (103.9 bb)
      MP: $27.86 (111.4 bb)
      CO: $25 (100 bb)
      BTN: $25.70 (102.8 bb)
      Hero (SB): $49.50 (198 bb)
      BB: $33.90 (135.6 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9 9
4 folds, Hero raises to $0.75, BB calls $0.50

      Flop: ($1.50) 7 4 3 (2 players)
Hero bets $1, BB calls $1

      Turn: ($3.50) 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $2.25, BB raises to $5.25, Hero calls $3

      River: ($14) 2 (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $6.75, Hero calls $6.75

      4. SB 24/20/8.1 squeeze 7
      CO 20/17 | fold 2 3b 64 | 4b 11

I like what I did here, but the betsizing is too small(?). I'd prefer a bigger sizing. Now opponents get an extremely nice odds to call here. Though SPR would be 1 on the flop so... Hmm... Don't know. :D But anyways plan was to fold if either one of them shoved pre. Though don't have equilab but don't think that we would get ~35% against neither of them ranges.

      UTG: $47.80 (191.2 bb)
      MP: $29.93 (119.7 bb)
      CO: $29.05 (116.2 bb)
      Hero (BTN): $25 (100 bb)
      SB: $61.66 (246.6 bb)
      BB: $28.22 (112.9 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with Q A
2 folds, CO raises to $0.75, Hero calls $0.75, SB raises to $3.60, BB folds, CO calls $2.85, Hero raises to $7.75

      5. BTN 18/15/7.5 | agg% f 46, t 27, r 9 | WTSD 20 | hands 380

Wasn't sure about the river play. Flop didn't want to raise him straight away even though had a monster draw but hoped that some of the aggressive fishes after me would go insane, but not this time. Turn going ck/ck I think he has some weak value hands and draws in his range, capped range after the turn ckbk. I guess betting the river is best since don't think he is calling with A:hX on the river.

      Hero (BB): $25 (100 bb)
      UTG: $50.73 (202.9 bb)
      MP: $36.20 (144.8 bb)
      CO: $26.45 (105.8 bb)
      BTN: $28.24 (113 bb)
      SB: $19.37 (77.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8 7
UTG raises to $0.75, MP calls $0.75, CO calls $0.75, BTN calls $0.75, SB folds, Hero calls $0.50

      Flop: ($3.85) T 6 5 (5 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks, MP checks, CO checks, BTN bets $2.25, Hero calls $2.25, 3 folds

      Turn: ($8.35) 8 (2 players)
      Hero checks, BTN checks

      River: ($8.35) A (2 players)
      Hero bets $5.25

      6. HitThe1Out :f_love:

      MP: $68.13 (272.5 bb)
      CO: $30.30 (121.2 bb)
      BTN: $25 (100 bb)
      SB: $49.75 (199 bb)
      Hero (BB): $25.35 (101.4 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 2 2
MP folds, CO raises to $0.75, BTN calls $0.75, SB folds, Hero calls $0.50

      Flop: ($2.35) 4 2 Q (3 players)
Hero checks, CO checks, BTN bets $1.10, Hero raises to $3.75, CO folds, BTN raises to $7.20, Hero raises to $24.60 and is all-in, BTN calls $17.05 and is all-in

      Turn: ($50.85) T (2 players, 2 are all-in)

      Final Board: 4 2 Q T 9
CO mucked and lost (-$0.75 net)
      BTN showed 4 4 and won $24.43 (-$0.57 net)
      Hero showed 2 2 and won $24.42 (-$0.58 net)

It's nice to post these "analyzes". Firstly it makes me go and rethink the spots if I made mistakes/got the maxvalue. It also gives me chance to see and read my own thoughts. And writing sh*t in English is also good for me since haven't spoken/written English basically at all for a couple of years now.

      But anyways GL to games!

      And some music:

One hand from an earlier session:

      Hero (CO): $30.38 (121.5 bb)
      BTN: $25.22 (100.9 bb)
      SB: $27.69 (110.8 bb)
      BB: $24.40 (97.6 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with K T
Hero raises to $0.75, BTN folds, SB calls $0.65, BB calls $0.50

      Flop: ($2.25) 4 K 7 (3 players)
SB bets $1, BB folds, Hero raises to $3.50, SB calls $2.50

      Turn: ($9.25) K (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $4.75, SB calls $4.75

      River: ($18.75) K (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $21.38 and is all-in, SB calls $18.69 and is all-in

      Results: $56.13 pot ($0.50 rake)
      Final Board: 4 K 7 K K
      Hero showed K T and won $55.63 ($27.94 net)
SB showed A 2 and lost (-$27.69 net)

First time playing with him. On the other hand I kind a like this call and on the other I hate it. Why I hate it? Because there isn't any history between us. Although if he has purchased some hands online maybe he then sees me as an aggressive lagtard, don't know. Why I kind a like it? Because imo my valuerange on the river here is so narrow, like Kx/AA. And I'd might raise my draws and fire them down and he basically wins every draw without 4. I wouldn't bet 44/77 OTR, I wouldn't play 88-QQ like this(?). Though more likely reason why he ended up calling might be because he's a fish... :f_biggrin: Though if not :f_thumbsup:

Maybe little bit overthinking a spot that really doesn't matter that much, but anyways couple of buyins up today too.

      So some goals for December:
      :club: Over 60k hands
      :club: Winrate over 7bb/100 @NL25 and over 3bb/100 @NL50
      :club: Reach PlatinumStar @stars

I decided to reduce the amount of tables I play from 10 to 8 (6 tables nl25, 2 tables nl50). When I have 40bins to nl50 gonna play 4 and 4, and when reaching 50bins gonna play only nl50. Now have little bit over 35bins to nl50.

Haven't played too much so far in the couple of the first days of December, but hopefully gonna have some more time to grind. Too much school stuff atm.

      1. SB 24/17/4,1 | 4brange 1, hands 650, no specific reads, seems to be passive post.

Is this standard? Just thinking about his betsize, which is pretty weird in my opinion. Just flat pre? Or just go broke, or fold?

      BB: $22.71 (45.4 bb)
      Hero (CO): $52.06 (104.1 bb)
      BTN: $58.49 (117 bb)
      SB: $50 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with Q Q
Hero raises to $1.50, BTN folds, SB raises to $6, BB folds, Hero raises to $12, SB raises to $25.50, Hero raises to $52.06 and is all-in, SB calls $24.50 and is all-in

      Flop: ($100.50) J 3 5 (2 players, 2 are all-in)
      Turn: ($100.50) 3 (2 players, 2 are all-in)
      River: ($100.50) 7 (2 players, 2 are all-in)

      2. CO 27/22/8.7 | f23b 65 | 4b 14 | open CO 23 | cbet f 72, t 48, r 46 | WTSD 25
      BB 19/15/6,5 sq 7

Bad OOP-flout by me. Don't like this. If I remember correctly I had a pretty aggressive image on the table, especially preflop. How about the preflop play? 3b or flat here. Any idea at betting the river? I think CO would continue barreling on the turn obviously with KQ/AK/22/A2/X:SX.. and Kx most of the time? Then again I believe he would bet his bluffs pretty often OTT since my range doesn't hit that flop too well and my range pretty much is middle pairs/flouts. OTR I'm not sure what's the best move, whether to bet or ck/f. Don't think that he is bluffing here if I check it to him. So if I could play this again it would be a clear check/fold on the river.

      BTN: $28.50 (57 bb)
      Hero (SB): $56.15 (112.3 bb)
      BB: $50.75 (101.5 bb)
      UTG: $69.40 (138.8 bb)
      MP: $102.56 (205.1 bb)
      CO: $54.50 (109 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 7 7
2 folds, CO raises to $1.50, BTN folds, Hero calls $1.25, BB folds

      Flop: ($3.50) 2 K 2 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $2, Hero calls $2

      Turn: ($7.50) Q (2 players)
      Hero checks, CO checks

      River: ($7.50) J (2 players)
      Hero bets $5.50

But anyways GL to games, thought that I could concentrate on grinding and school today, but apparently not, since gonna go out clubbing with friends. :f_confused: Plan was not to drink at all this week, but anyways its already Tuesday I guess I deserve to go out today. :f_biggrin:

Yeah, super hungry I'd say! :P And thanks.

Today played a little. The result was nice, though I think I didn't even play nearly so well as this graph indicates:

      Hand 1.
      BB 44/11 smallish sample
      MP 33/26/10 | agg f 30, t 25, r 20 | WTSD 21

Don't know whether to like this one, or not. :D OTR I'm not sure whether to shove or checkback. Since we win all the missed flushdraws (except A:s3). I'm not sure about the turn betsize either. And should we even continue our bluff after the flop. Thought his range was draw/weakish overpair heavy, like {TT,JJ,9T,88,77,98,X:sX}. The turn betsize is kind a weird, he was so passive that don't think that he is going to ship it with a draw there, so basically imo he doesn't have a (semi)bluff range OTT.

Gonna download equilab and think about this hand little bit more later today.

      UTG: $50.83 (101.7 bb)

Once again I got a reminder why not to play when you're tired, and not even that interested in playing. Plan was to play 30min, not even a proper session, wtf I was thinking. :f_biggrin: -3BINs only though, but I think that's pretty good work, since in every single table there was at least 1 total fish, and I still managed to be the biggest moron on the tables. :f_mad: :f_biggrin:

      Long time no time! Wtf...

Yeah, have been a while since the last update. Motivation towards poker has been... hmm... well low. Played some after the last update and played badly. When I say badly I mean ultraübermcyke badly. Sucked a lot, and spewed even more. So that ended up me losing a bit, but don't care. :f_biggrin:

Now after Christmas started playing again, and decided to play well. Have been working so far pretty nicely and motivation seems to be coming back. Now having okish brm to play nl50 (40BINs). Playing 6 tables nl25 and 4 tables nl50 atm.

      1. Had a nice laugh at opponents hand. :f_biggrin: Though would've been better if he had like 27o. Should've raised bigger pre I guess, but anyways lol.

      BTN: $59.42 (237.7 bb)
      Hero (SB): $45.01 (180 bb)
      BB: $26.84 (107.4 bb)
      UTG: $29.66 (118.6 bb)
      MP: $38.61 (154.4 bb)
      CO: $23.35 (93.4 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K K
UTG folds, MP calls $0.25, CO raises to $0.50, BTN folds, Hero raises to $2.75, BB folds, MP calls $2.50, CO folds

      Flop: ($6.25) 5 7 Q (2 players)
Hero bets $4.75, MP calls $4.75

      Turn: ($15.75) 6 (2 players)
Hero bets $12.25, MP raises to $24.50, Hero raises to $37.51, MP calls $6.61 and is all-in

      River: ($77.97) 2 (2 players, 1 is all-in)

      Results: $77.97 pot ($2 rake)
      Final Board: 5 7 Q 6 2
Hero showed K K and lost (-$38.61 net)
      MP showed 7 2 and won $75.97 ($37.36 net)

      2. MP 36/23 | f23b 63 | cbet f 59, t 67 (6) | agg% f 26, t 37, r 37 | WTSD 27 | hands 300
A fishy reg(?) raised from MP, decided to just flat here since BTN was a fish. Even though he wouldn't have been a fish I prefer here just to flat. After so small turn bet I put him on a draw/weak made hand, like TX. I should've raised the turn a bit bigger to like 13,5. If he had raised me on the turn I think I would've folded since think he is too passive to go broke with a draw there, or with a Tx.

I guess the river shove is pretty standard.

      MP: $48 (96 bb)
      Hero (CO): $50 (100 bb)
      BTN: $122.09 (244.2 bb)
      SB: $111.06 (222.1 bb)
      BB: $59.98 (120 bb)
      UTG: $50 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with J J
UTG folds, MP raises to $1.50, Hero calls $1.50, 2 folds, BB calls $1

      Flop: ($4.75) T 3 9 (3 players)
BB checks, MP bets $3, Hero calls $3, BB folds

      Turn: ($10.75) 3 (2 players)
MP bets $4.50, Hero raises to $11.50, MP calls $7

      River: ($33.75) 5 (2 players)
      MP checks, Hero ????

      3. CO totally unknown. Not having a full stack might indicate that he's less likely a good player, but that's it.

      The flop fold is standard?

      BB: $44.08 (88.2 bb)
      CO: $47.25 (94.5 bb)
      Hero (BTN): $50 (100 bb)
      SB: $40.25 (80.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with K A
CO raises to $1.50, Hero raises to $4, 2 folds, CO calls $2.50

      Flop: ($8.75) A J 8 (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets $5, CO raises to $14, Hero ?!?!

      Graph after the last update.

This reminds me about thinking of dropping out of school and starting a web design company... That would be my cv.

So line up boys 'n girls I'm here to pimp your graphs!

Yeah.. A picture is worth a thousand words.. It seems that Santa also brought me good run! :f_biggrin:

      1. Proud of the river value bet. I might've checkbacked here even with as strong hand as JJ before. But especially when opponent is a reg it would've been extremely bad play since it polarizes our range totally if I don't even bet so strong hands as JJ. Don't know though what we should actually be betting here otr...

      BTN: $60.18 (120.4 bb)
      SB: $20 (40 bb)
      BB: $35.51 (71 bb)
      UTG: $112.65 (225.3 bb)
      MP: $56.72 (113.4 bb)
      Hero (CO): $50 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with J J
UTG folds, MP raises to $1.50, Hero calls $1.50, 3 folds

      Flop: ($3.75) 7 2 6 (2 players)
MP bets $2, Hero calls $2

      Turn: ($7.75) T (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $5, MP calls $5

      River: ($17.75) 3 (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $11.50, MP calls $11.50

      2. Biggest pot of the day.
BB aggro reg, haven't played too much with him but he multitabled and was aggro. MP a fish. Thought that here BB has a pretty wide value range since MP was so fishy. And there was so much dead money in the pot after BB's 4b and MP's call. So decided to shove it here. I think BB has a folding range here, but MP is going broke with a wide range. After the session I've thought that this might be pretty marginal spot and maybe a fold? Don't know... And finding out mathematically EV here is too much work and I'm on a holiday so no math now since this isn't so common spot.

      SB: $19.50 (39 bb)
      BB: $50 (100 bb)
      MP: $86.27 (172.5 bb)
      CO: $50.75 (101.5 bb)
      Hero (BTN): $50 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with J J
MP raises to $1.50, CO folds, Hero raises to $5, SB folds, BB raises to $11, MP calls $9.50, Hero raises to $50 and is all-in, BB calls $39 and is all-in, MP calls $39

      Flop: ($150.25) 7 4 6 (3 players, 2 are all-in)
      Turn: ($150.25) 9 (3 players, 2 are all-in)
      River: ($150.25) 2 (3 players, 2 are all-in)

      December:

Okish month even though I played pretty badly like 15k hands. Now running again like a horny pig so everything is in order. :f_biggrin:

      Sickish goals January:

:club: Run at least 25buyins over EV
:diamond: NO drinking, NO fast food, NO candy, NO sodas

Poker related goals are hopefully pretty easily achievable for me, but the last IRL-related is going to be hard, extremely hard... :f_biggrin: In Finland there is a thing called tipaton tammikuu which basically translates to "dropless January" which means you don't drink alcohol at all during January. It is surprisingly popular here. Instead of just settling for that, I decided to take it a step further and drop out all fast food, candy and sodas. And obv I have a bet of this with friends. But mainly challenging my self here. :f_biggrin:

      Today:

      1. SB 20/12/3,6 141hands
      CO 22/18/5,9 90 hands

What to do on the flop? Just call? Fold? Shove?

Thought that me having TJ reduced from many hands that beat me, like K:T, K:dJ, A:dT, A:dJ. And I doubt that CO would flat other A:dX:ds than AQ-AT, maybe some smaller suited connectors? How about the cold call from SB? Like I said my hand reduces nicely the amount of the combos that do beat me here. SB could be flatting here A:d2-A:d5? But thought that there aren't too many nice turn cards I want to see.

      BTN: $46.94 (93.9 bb)
      SB: $50 (100 bb)
      BB: $78.59 (157.2 bb)
      UTG: $32.85 (65.7 bb)
      Hero (MP): $52.98 (106 bb)
      CO: $56.82 (113.6 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with T J
UTG folds, Hero raises to $1.50, CO calls $1.50, BTN folds, SB calls $1.25, BB calls $1

      Flop: ($6) Q 5 6 (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $4, CO raises to $12.23, SB calls $12.23, BB folds, Hero raises to $51.48 and is all-in, CO folds, SB calls $36.27 and is all-in

      Turn: ($115.23) J (2 players, 2 are all-in)
      River: ($115.23) 8 (2 players, 2 are all-in)

      2. Opponent 24/18/7,0 | f23b CO 53 (28) | f2cb OOP 31 (45) | f2cb turn 31 (OOP 25 (16)) | WTSD 35 hands 2,3k

Had been caught from a bluff on an other table just before by him if I remember correctly so decided just to checkback the river. Bet sizes both flop+turn are too small imo.

      CO: $52.65 (105.3 bb)
      Hero (BTN): $91.50 (183 bb)
      SB: $53.04 (106.1 bb)
      BB: $108.62 (217.2 bb)
      UTG: $114.27 (228.5 bb)
      MP: $39.85 (79.7 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with A T
2 folds, CO raises to $1.50, Hero raises to $4, 2 folds, CO calls $2.50

      Flop: ($8.75) 2 8 J (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets $4.50, CO calls $4.50

      Turn: ($17.75) K (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets $9.50, CO calls $9.50

      River: ($36.75) 9 (2 players)
      CO checks, Hero checks

      3. Should fold pre.
      BB fish,
      SB 25/20/12,5 cbet 80 | skip cb oop and ck/cl 83(6) | WTSD 36 hands 865

Even though SB has pretty high WTSD I don't see him checking here any decent hand since the fish on BB. So decided to fire 3 bullets and vs that turn sizing think he is going to call a lot and I have a nice spr for river shove. Max value with the bluff.

      CO: $50 (100 bb)
      Hero (BTN): $51.50 (103 bb)
      SB: $85.96 (171.9 bb)
      BB: $39.54 (79.1 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with 8 7
CO folds, Hero raises to $1, SB raises to $4, BB calls $3.50, Hero calls $3

      Flop: ($12) 5 J 6 (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $5.50, SB calls $5.50, BB folds

      Turn: ($23) J (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $8.50, SB calls $8.50

      River: ($40) Q (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $33.50 and is all-in

So far so good for that last poker related goal. Only 20ish BINs to luckbox. There is no way that my game is going to be worse. Have played like C+/B- game for the beginning of the year. Though when played the session on the 1th day had so bad hangover that I'm surprised that I were able to even to move the mouse.

Only 7 days behind of January and one was dedicated to hangover and still I've already extremely happy about my results and volume. In my game there is always room for improvement but still not bad. Been running extremely well in all in situations, is you just don't get it in in good shape then you just have to run a little bit better. :) Santa really did bring me a good run for 2014. :f_love: Hope I don't jinx my run.

Thought villains turn play was pretty weird. Can we flat here? Or jam? Don't know though is he folding fds here, obv going broke with K:sX, just doesn't make sense why he would donk the turn with so good hand. Or is this just a fold? Is the flop raise too big?

About the betsizes. Afterwards thought that I'd get more value out from here with bigger betsizes. Flop should be 2.5 turn then 6,5 and river also ~6,5?

      My thoughts here:
After the flop put him on a draw. He would've very likely raised here any set and made straights, so I think that his flop play pretty much capped his range here? Don't think that he would be floating this flop too widely since fold to flop donk is pretty high, so mainly put him on a draws/weak real hands.

I bet the turn big since think I'm still getting value from fast majority of his range which we do beat. Think hes range looks like 98/T8s/J8s/K8s/A8/86s/X:cX/QJ/TQ, I believe he would raise with a monster draw on the flop. I do believe that he would float here with an 8 pretty often.

River is a pretty nice card actually since after his shove I think that I have most of the time the best hand here, because like I said, he would raise any set on the flop. Believe he would play much more straight forward if he had a flopped straight. And on the other hand I doubt that he would be shoving here with an 8 since my range has easily some flopped sets and KQ. Our betsize is also pretty inducing. Is it better to just ck/cl the river rather than bet/something? I guess it is? How about sizing?

Shitty day. First session playing 2 tables of nl100 and 4 of nl50, went perfectly well until I was so hungry that started making stupid plays, couldn't concentrate at all. Now later session at nl50 was total shitspewmonkeyingtiltingsucking, first 15ish min played bad, then next 20min A-game, then started lost all the focus and ended up spewing 4BINs. Now going to clean my apartment as a punishment for being such a idjet at the tables. :f_biggrin:

Day: -131,83$ so not bad moneywise but gamewise it was an absolute disaster!

      JANUARY WRAP UP
      Sickish goals January:
      :club: Platinum star @stars SUCCEED
      :club: 60k hands @nl50 FAIL, 45kish hands
:club: Win some monies, 3+bb/100 @nl50 SUCCEED, 4,6bb/100
:club: Post at least 1 hand/day to be evaluated FAIL
:club: At least 5 times a week post my own stupid thoughts to some hands FAIL
:club: Run at least 25buyins over EV FAIL
:diamond: NO drinking, NO fast food, NO candy, NO sodas FAIL mostly though didn't eat candy or drink sodas at all.. :)

So more red than green, though it was foreseeable still a minor disappointment.

Not too good, way too much spewwing and being a total f*ing moron. :f_biggrin: I think I can easily get my winrate to at least 8bb/100 with a better mindset. And that's one of the big goals for this month, don't be a fucktard at the tables. :f_biggrin: So spewwing to minimum. And also I'm focusing on the length of my sessions, gonna keep them approximately at 1hr-1.5hr. Always when I play a long session I start to use facebook read the news etc and like everyone knows that's not too good...

      FEBRUARY
      Goals:
      :club: Platinum star @stars
      :club: 35k hands @nl50 and 15k @nl100
      :club: Get used to nl100
:club: Win some monies again, 6,5+bb/100@nl50 and 1+bb/100@nl100
      :club: Learn to play
:club: Update the blog at least 2times/week

February has started pretty nicely, and actually I've been playing my A game lately! So gotta be happy how things are going at the moment. I have ~40bins to nl100, so I'm planning to shot there pretty soon.

      GL ALL!
