      Hi Ps.com.

Recently reignited the online poker bug and wanting to kill time at work on a slow Friday afternoon; I have thrown together a colour coordinated hand equity chart and thought I would share it with anyone that might find it usefull for creating opening ranges etc.

Quite possibly this already exists but I am slightly less ignorant than I was before-hand so the bosses time wasn't entirely wasted :f_biggrin:

      Note:
All hands evaluated vs 'random hand' in equilab.
x.1/2/3 rounded down, x.4/5/6 rounded to .5, x.7/8/9 rounded up.

      Hand Eq Chart

      Bravo squire,
      whats CREV?

Im a practical learner and dont resent the time spent -
that said, a quicker method for doing this vs percentage ranges would be sweet.

crev = cardrunner ev. tool to help us calculate equity

btw, equity isn't too useful to build preflop chart, except for short stack. there are other things to consider (:postflop, general tendency of our limit, etc)

      Thanks, I'll take a look.

Yes, thats right, though it cant hurt provided one doesn't dismiss other considerations and build ranges entirely dependant on equity.

      Well done MasochisticDesire!

      Pretty, too :D

That's an interesting comment about equity, patszerdonk.
It is too bad that there is no way to quantify "playability".

For example A8o has better equity than 87s but postflop 87s seems to lead to easier decisions.

      All the best,
