Hello all! Just joined recently and have been lurking, reading, and watching some vids.

Have been playing online off and on (when the DOJ isn't looking) for several years as a purely recreational, low stakes grinder.

Have primarily been an mtt guy but just joined ACR and have become much more interested in ST SNG's due to time constraints. I work full time and I am in the US. Don't really like turbos, although my biggest cash was in a turbo Poker Maximus MTT that I entered by mistake! Go figure! :D

Found this site searching for best SNG training and I really like the design and all the info here. I will probably buy in at the silver level. Again time constraints probably won't let me go through the whole program like I would like to.

Looking forward to playing the best I can thanks to Poker Strategy! GL!!

      Hi, wilmont

      Welcome to PokerStrategy.com !

Since you're in the US a lot of our benefits are not available you you.

I've asked for clarification regarding what iS available to you.

In the meantime, where in the States are you?
Do you play poker on line at all -- or just live.

      Best of luck,

Hi Vorpal. I am in the Eastern Central part of the US. Don't want to be more specific since Obama is watching! :D

I only play online as there are no casinos near me. I "retired" for a while after BF like many others and have recently started playing again.

Although I only play $3-$5 or less byins just for the fun of it, I still want to be able to play well, which brings me here.

Well, if you want to improve, you've come to the right place...

I sure hope that things improve for US poker players.
I understand that some states have begun to bring poker back.

      We sure miss you guys!
Especially me, since I live on the W coast of Canada, and now that you're gone, there is so little traffic during my evenings.

      Best of luck!

      Hi wilmont,

First of all, welcome to PokerStrategy.com!

Like Vorpal mentioned, unfortunately the current market regulations in the US make life very difficult for players from the US. That means it also not possible for you to play tracked or receive the free poker money :(

However, you can still take advantage of all our educational content by buying a status upgrade in our Points Shop here: Points Shop

So you can get a status upgrade for as little as $5. Although I know this is not ideal, and it would be much easier to simply play tracked, unfortunately this is the best option we have available for US players at the moment.

Hopefully that helps, and hopefully we'll be seeing you around! Best of luck at the tables :)

      Kind regards,
      Tino

      Thanks Guys!

Yeah poker options kinda suck here in the USSA! X(

Still, I just like to play and like to learn all I can in pretty much any hobby I take on.

I am an accountant by trade, so the math and strategy of poker are very appealing to me.

Looking forward to delving into the videos, as time permits!

GL at the tables, and Merry Christmas!!!
