I can't seem to turn my downswing around on Stars. I've switched to 10NL SSS from 10NL BSS to try and reduce my variance and make my mistakes cost less, but...

That's not hard to spot, SHC never tells you to call someones raise, so if you got AJ and go raised in front of you, fold. Same goes with 88 and AQ

I think you played every hand fail.
Hand 1. After one raiser AJo is a fold.
      Hand 2. Same.
      Hand 3. Same.
Hand 4. It's played right, but your stack is too large. Quit and find new table..

(re)read articles or watch some of the videos here at pokerstrategy you see they never ever call a raise.

hand 4 is just pure bad luck, i would do the same thing with QQ after doubling up but if you are not confortable losing a 35bb stack yet then only play KK and AA to be on the safe side. is cool to leave the table with a 80bb stack after going in with 20bb :D

changing your style so hard is a bad thing to do if you ask me. if youre tired and in a downswing, you could go play some sng's or tournaments, or just clear your head, but dont go play SSS if youve not or hardly done that before. You'll make mistakes as has been proven

you're better off to keep playing BSS and post your hands like you did here, in order to spot your mistakes and improve your play

hand 4 is not bad luck !! its a bad play ..u should have folded the Q-Q to a big stack re-raise..even though the sss says shove .there are lots of strategies on the web on how to exploit the short-stacks.Read them you will save yourself alot of money if your a short stacker.

This won't really help him because he don't understand basics here, after he will get them, then it's time for advanced moves.

In my opinion folding QQ here is a big mistake, I'm never folding QQ in this spot.

The first 3 hands should all be folded PF though.
